I got to go into the store in Milan which I had been dreaming about for years! The clerks were laughing after I came in and dropped to my knees in happiness. They were shocked at this behavior, but I explained to them how obsessed I am with Fornasetti. I purchased 4 new "Julia" plates for my collection which I have scattered about in my homes. They shipped them home for me so I didn't have to deal with lugging them around and possibly breaking them on the trip home. It was fabulous that we were the only ones in the store at that time so we got special attention from the salesgirls who spoke excellent English, which is smart, since a lot of tourists must come in.
