(that and the high prices of some of their stuff - especially furniture and lamps) It develops in 3 floors, the underground one being the largest with corridors and steps (watch out!) bringing you from room to room. As a tourist in Milan my friends and I were looking for a place to explore fabulous, well curated home items. Cargo & High Tech blew us away. It's easy to get lost in the store as it's spread across several buildings over two floors - which makes it fun to explore and discover all the great product. Plan on spending a good hour or so here when you visit - you won't be disappointed!

I got to go into the store in Milan which I had been dreaming about for years! The clerks were laughing after I came in and dropped to my knees in happiness. They were shocked at this behavior, but I explained to them how obsessed I am with Fornasetti. I purchased 4 new "Julia" plates for my collection which I have scattered about in my homes. They shipped them home for me so I didn't have to deal with lugging them around and possibly breaking them on the trip home. It was fabulous that we were the only ones in the store at that time so we got special attention from the salesgirls who spoke excellent English, which is smart, since a lot of tourists must come in.
