Kallie Crawford of Krum Gergely represented me. I choose to go with her because:…read more 1) Krum Gergely was the best reviewed firm of the traffic lawyers that reached out to me 2) When doing a phone consultation with Kallie - she had the most practical strategy and best advice by far. She didn't use scare tactics or extremism like other consultations. And she seemed to really understand my circumstance. 3) The retainer cost was also the most competitive by far! Throughout the process (pre court), her team was responsive by text and email, including remainders on court date and traffic school recommendation, which I greatly appreciated. They seemed really on top of it and available. Most importantly, the day of my traffic hearing she was really proactive and aggressive in handling the process. She negotiated with all parties and then represented me to the judge as well. She made sure the terms worked for me. I didn't have to face the judge, prosecutor or witness. She handled everything. The entire process literally took about 20 minutes and I was on my way with the most favorable outcome. Super efficient and stress free process, after months of worrying about the outcome. I wished I had hired her earlier on. Overall I would rate the experience 10/10 and could not recommend them more!!! So very grateful and eternally thankful!!! I couldn't be happier with the services offered. Highly highly recommend.

Over the course of six months, Kush represented me through two serious and completely false felony…read morecharges--burglary and theft. The situation was deeply emotional and stressful, stemming from a false accusation made by an ex-boyfriend during a difficult breakup. From the very beginning, Kush was calm, reassuring, and laser-focused on one objective: a full acquittal. Throughout the entire process--from preparation through trial--Kush demonstrated exceptional professionalism, strategic thinking, and deep knowledge of the Maryland court system. He is an outstanding trial litigator who understands not only the law, but how to clearly and effectively present the truth in court. Kush took the time to fully understand my side of the story and made sure it was heard. He methodically exposed the inconsistencies and falsehoods in the accuser's testimony and clearly demonstrated why the State failed to meet its burden of proof. Because of his skill, preparation, and confidence in the courtroom, I was fully acquitted and found not guilty on all charges. If you find yourself in the unfortunate position of needing a criminal defense attorney--whether in district or circuit court--you want someone who is strategic, composed under pressure, and relentlessly committed to protecting you. I simply can NOT say enough great things about attorney Leon Geller!…read moreCompetent. Aggressive, yet prudent. Excellent communication. He'll take the time to explain everything. Attorney Geller FOUGHT for me. Rather than having me accept a plea, he scoured all two hours of the police body camera footage and found inconsistencies in the video that left the prosecution with no other choice than to "nolle prosequi" ALL my charges! His fees for this case were BEYOND reasonable and gave me the option to pay his retainer over a period of time rather than having to have it all up front at once. He is kind and affable, caring, intelligent, and really gives you the feeling that he is personally invested in YOU as a HUMAN - not just another criminal piggy bank with legal problems. He even came in on his day off to meet me in his office before court! He knows the judges in the Rockville MD district and circuit courts, and the prosecutors, too. When he speaks, they listen. I would NOT hesitate to recommend his services to anybody in need of help with the criminal legal system here in Rockville MD. If you are seeking competent, aggressive, communicative, intelligent, passionate AND effective representation AND don't really want to surrender your first born child or left arm to pay the retainer - look no further than the law offices of Leon Geller! *RECOMMENDED*

Without going into too many details, I was involved in a vehicular personal injury case where the other party was at fault, but the other insurance company was trying to bully and strong arm me on the reimbursements for medical bills. Mr. Silber and his team helped me as much as they legally and ethically could, which was exactly what I needed. They made a frustrating process simple and I am more than happy with the outcome. I had an ally through every step of the process. Legal matters aren't fun, especially if you are the victim. If you have to go through such a thing, get the best lawyer for your needs on your side. The best lawyer in Maryland for personal injury or anything related to a vehicular legal issue is Mr. Lewis M. Silber in Rockville, MD. I found him through AVVO, where he has over 50 5-star ratings out of 5 stars, and from my experience they are all well deserved. Also, Erlin Reyes, Mr. Silber's Senior Legal Assistant, went out of his way on several occasions to make sure my needs were taken care of. I am equally appreciative for Erlin's help as well as the rest of the Silber Law Group's efforts in making my experience as smooth and as pleasant as possible.

We hired Mr. Hanifin to deal with a violent squatter/hold-over in my home. He was happy to take…read moreseveral thousand dollars from us to prepare basic eviction paperwork, and to represent us in 1 brief court appearance (which he has another lawyer sub in for him with no explanation). During this time period, he was professional and respectful. He did misspell the squatter's name on court paperwork. Unfortunately, once the specific tasks that he could charge us for were behind us, he became a very different person. In the weeks between the court appearance and the actual eviction, he unraveled. He gave us erroneous advice on the postings I needed to make to the illegally occupied room (telling us we had significantly more time than we actually did). He messaged me to schedule the eviction WAY before I actually could, and acted confused but also completely uninterested in helping to figure out what I needed to do next to schedule the eviction with the Sherrif. The proverbial straw that broke this camel's back (and has led to this review), was when he dismissed the trauma I had been going through related to this matter with a self-righteous and dishonest email, describing having a violent squatter threatening to kill me as "a totally normal case" or something to that affect. This grotesque, arrogant message had a number of other inexplicably dismissive and insulting statements and insinuations that I won't detail in this post. In retrospect, it is painfully obviously that once he got all the money he could out of us, he was no longer interested in helping us in any way, even though the matter was far from resolved and we still desperately needed legal advice (and he was still our lawyer). Once he couldn't charge us for it (no more paperwork, court appearances), he became self-righteous and mean-spirited, but also demonstrated a basic lack of understanding as to the eviction process in Montgomery County and how to courts process and post information.
