It's right across from the fire station (kids love fire trucks), in the church parking lot. Dogs aren't allowed so bring a friend to hold her while you shop. You can eat your breakfast together at one of the tables right there at the church outside of the Farmers Market. Parking is available on the street or across the street at another church. It's a great place to hangout for a bit, let the kids explore, eats farm fresh, literally, breakfast, get some great goodies for the week, and RELAX (it's the weekend). This Farmers Market is large enough to give you everything you need or want, and small enough to walk around and still keep an eye on your kids or quickly find a friend to compare your treasures. I love the breakfast omelet, the music is always good and sometimes really, really good. And the people are always friendly and fun. I walk there, but it is worth the drive, and then you can walk around a bit!

Who among us can resist a food hall? Not me. (Not I?) Especially one like Logan Street Market. But…read morefirst, something non-food related: This place has a huge arcade in it! That's the first thing that my children noticed when we walked into the market. The arcade is set up off to the side, through a door, on the first floor. There are a couple dozen pinball machines and old-school video games that you can play for quarters. When we visited, there was no one in the arcade, so we had the whole thing to ourselves. The arcade was an unexpected bonus, but we visited for the food. I love food halls and markets like this because everyone can find something they like. When we visited, one of us got a loaded baked potato from Spudzy Potato Bar, one of us got the falafel and hummus plate from Jerusalem Kitchen, and one of us got a cheeseburger from Ziba's Bistro. But we could have also chosen arepas, Korean street food or crepes, or things like boba and coffee and vegan baked goods. There are a lot of different options here. Upstairs, there are a lot of little booths with crafts and handmade goods and things. When we visited, none of that was open, but we were able to go up there and look around. There's also a small area for young kids to play, and a couple of video games. The second floor is also a nice place to peer down and look at the market from high up above. Parking is wherever you can find it. There's a gravel parking lot a block away, and there's also street parking, if you're lucky to get a spot.

Logan Street Market is a nice-to-visit spot every so often, perhaps to grab a coffee or cocktail,…read moretry a new eating spot, play pinball machines, or browse vendor shops upstairs. Saying that, I don't enjoy visiting as much as I used to. Many of my favorite shops have left for other venues and I miss the grab & go food options (butcher shop, cheeses, etc.). I appreciated the general check out area for the upstairs shops. None of them have large spaces and I felt more comfortable browsing without the shop owner being there. The clerk greeted us, welcomed us and explained they were there to help. Street parking is available and unless there's an event at the market, it's easy to find a nearby spot.

This Farmer's Market is still in its infancy, but it's got a great nucleus of vendors. If you live…read morein the area and you're not stopping in, you're missing out. The staples are all here. Several farms come loaded with veggies. Three good breadmakers (including Klaus and his famous pretzel loaves). A couple places to buy eggs. Grasshoppers. Steel City Pops. Monnik crowlers. Kombucha. Quiches. We came home with an armful of pawpaws last week. Are you scared off by expensive farm-raised chickens? Well, $1 might still get you a watermelon or a pair of bell peppers or cucumbers. You're more into cocktails than drum circles? Well, last week at the market we had a demonstration from a local Maker's Mark rep, showcasing market ingredients. Yes, cocktail sampling. I can't promise that will happen frequently, but I can promise that the leadership behind this market isn't sleeping on the job. I'm so happy this market is taking shape.

This rating may seem harsh, but I am hopeful I will be able to bump in up soon enough…read more I moved to the neighborhood just under a year ago and was excited when I realized there was a weekly Farmers Market so close to my home. I just have to, you know, wake up early enough on the weekend to get to a Farmers Market in time to enjoy it. I stopped by a couple times over the summer. It is still pretty small and seems like it is still establishing itself. I hope it continues to grow and gets bigger and better. As it stands, there were a few CBD booths, a couple bakery/pre-made stuff booths (muffins and quiches and cookies, oh my!), sometimes a meat booth, and usually one produce booth. There is also a sort of pop-up food booth so you can get something for breakfast or brunch and eat it there. The vendors and all the people I have encountered while here are super friendly and nice. There just haven't been the kind of stock or variety that I am hoping for. Still, it all just feels small and incomplete. And I will absolutely be back! I really hope it grows and becomes more established and draws both more vendors and more customers!
