Got a chance to meet the man behind this amazing fried chicken, he is so sweet and welcoming. Made us felt at home and made our visit so enjoyable. Thank you, Corey and Milan I am so jealous we don't have Corey's in the state.

There's quite a lot of soul in this kitchen...& in the chicken too. The flavorful chicken recipe is consistent, juicy, & crispety crunchy every time. Their potato salad is better than most I've had even at the best BBQs (no onions!) or they offer the more popular, sweet potato fries or the lesser known baked beans. They also have what sounds like some delish desserts but we were too stuffed to try. I reiterate, I consider this tiny, unassuming, (clean) hole-in-the-wall a fast food joint...so you order at the counter, grab your tray, & see yourself to your table of choice either downstairs or up. They also have a short counter with stools at the window that seats 3-4 in case you want first row seating to hurried passersby or the occasional dog walker cleaning up. Oh, & there's air conditioning! Like real, good ol' 'Merican air conditionin's!!! Be aware of their non-American hours though, as they close for siesta in the early afternoon to reopen later for dinner service. What's more, their customer service is on par with their food! There's a small, young crew of locals (didn't meet actual Corey, who is apparently a real person from The South) that run & maintain the place. I mentioned it's fast food but only in menu not in prices. There will be no 5€ combo with fries & a drink. I understand it's an elevated version & I certainly appreciate it, but I'm skeptical of the locals making this concept a raging success as they're so used to cheap eats, especially at lunch time. On a last note, my friend & fellow USA expat would beat me with a chicken leg if I didn't mention their playlist. A variety of either old school hip hop or R&B...like, the real sh!t. I will definitely be returning to get my fingers & lips all greased up!

The first thing you notice is how hard the are trying with the Wild West theme and it makes for some interesting and inadvertent faux pas like the sign that says "Indian peoples" or the fenced off section of tables with a sign above reading "the saloon" both are in English. Despite all the American cues and geography being Switzerland, everything else is Italian including menu and servers. Nonetheless it was pretty easy to decipher with the pictures and mostly familiar looking words like "iceberg lettuce" and "catsup." I ordered the Navajo burger (essentially a cheese burger with lettuce and something like McD' "special sauce") while my wife chose the American burger (their take on a bacon cheese burger except they don't really have American bacon and the strips were not even close to crispy) and each came with thin crispy perfectly cooked French fries. The burgers came out fairly quickly with what tasted and looked like grilled patties and buns. They even asked how we wanted the burgers prepared. The burgers had good flavor and were probably 1/4 or 1/3 lb sized so plenty for lunch. While not the very best burger I've ever had, it was certainly the best one I've had in the past week. My only complaint was the price ChF56 for lunch was a bit much, but a small price to pay for a taste of home.

They advertise free refills but you are lucky to get anyone's attention after they take your order. Left this restaurant puking. I'm not saying it's a bad place, but it's sad when the restaurant delivers terrible food and service and then doesn't care what so ever. I asked for a vegan burrito, with no lettuce, then received a burrito with also no avocado, no salsa, no side of broccoli, a bare scooped out potato, and a wrap with some rice and potato, and a few green peas. Then when I brought it up to a server, which took me 10 min to get a hold of, she brought me a slice of vegan cheese and some broccoli. My cousin had a hamburger that left her throwing up 15 min after eating less than 1/2 of the burger. It's just a waste of money for a bad experience. A gimmick restaurant if that. Brightly decorated but poorly executed.
