The other half adults are no better wondering around intoxicated and behaving belligerently. The older women at the desk can't be more unhappy to be there since all she does is complain and gossip about everyone else. Horribly managed with a Manager that uses it as his doggy daycare and hides in his office to pretend he is unaware of the unprofessional business he runs. As far as treatment for the residents the level of care and cleanliness is a joke with the stench or urine filling every corridor, unkempt rooms yet charged daily for housekeeping that doesn't show. This place is nothing but a horrible charade of a senior living facility run by incompetence and scammers. Keep your loved ones far away from this facade. They will be no better looked after then if you left them in their own homes alone. Oh and check your bills carefully you are definitely being charged for things you don'treceive! We have hired an attorney to handle getting our overpayments and false charges retuned. Don't let the corporate office schmooze you either they are very aware of the ship these people run and it's disgusting and incomprehensible.

The facility always looks and smells clean. They provide rides to doctor's appointments and have relationships with excellent healthcare providers and a pharmacy that delivers. I toured three facilities before choosing Masonicare and am SO happy with this choice. My dad likes the location, "most" of the people (LOL), and says the food is "pretty good" which is pretty high praise from him. (Before he moved we tried Meals on Wheels, which he described as "inedible".) They have a lot of activities and although he doesn't participate in all of them, he's enjoyed the ones he has. He has a one bedroom apartment with a walk-in closet, and a small separate living room and kitchenette, which works well for him. Although he'd prefer to be at "home" (now sold), he says Masonicare is a good second option. This really is phenomenal given he originally refused to consider assisted living. Highly recommend checking out Masonicare if you are looking for either independent senior living or assisted living.
