I've used Gro-Masters for several years now and these guys are pretty darn good. It took a full season to finally get the winter weeds under control. They use a pre-emergent treatment in the fall and winter and time the application with the temperature change in the soil so as to target the germination of those weeds. In spring and summer they apply fertilizer and insecticides. The grub worms and Mole crickets are gone too. The big plus is mole tunneling is less prevalent. The only problem I had with these guys was they applied a treatment even after I told them explicitly not too. You see, I had been out of town and did not have a chance to clean up my yard and get the leaves up to ensure maximum coverage. They applied a treatment anyway and then a tropical storm hit and saturated the yard. After speaking with the head honcho I questioned the effectiveness of the treatment and he agreed that I would not pay for the November treatment and they would re-apply on a re-scheduled date. The Tech called me and we coordinated a date and he re-applied the chemical treatment. I would have rated these guys a 5 if not for the miscommunication to delay the application and better timing with the tropical storm deluge. Overall, the lawn treatments are effective and their prices seem reasonable. I would recommend Gro-Masters to friends and neighbors. read more

I have been using Gro - Masters for many , many years and I am very satisfied with their services and will not hesitate to recommend them. Lynn Tootle the manager is very professional and always comes on time when you call him. The cost of maintenance is comparable to other landscaping company and very fair . One year I lost most of my grass because of a mole crickets invasion and after contacting Lynn Tootle the manager of Gro- Masters they came to spray my new lawn and so far my lawn has been well maintained and free of mole crickets . The secretary who answered the phone at the office is also alway polite and helpful. ( I apologize I do not remember her name ) Gro- Masters does my mole and ants spraying , lawn fertilization and lawn aeration and I am very please with them. Thank you Lynn and your team. Service has been excellent since day 1. I do not give perfect scores...there's always room for improvement. I'm going on my 3rd year as a customer and i receive the full gambit of their service's. All the tech's are courteous and professional. All the office staff are courteous and professional as well....I have had a few hiccups with getting my billing sorted out but all has been resolved my situation is not the norm. It will be interesting for the Tech's because in about 3 weeks i will have 3 dogs coming back from training and i am curious on how that will affect their servicing pattern for my property. I had Tru Green and they did well for years. However, my lawn started going bad with large bare spots and multiple weeds. I don't know if they changed their applications or what, but they started telling me I needed additional special applications that I never needed before. I had a Gro-Master man look over the lawn and he said recommended letting the grass grow longer and said he could clear up the problems. My lawn recovered well and looks in good shape now. I still have a few bare spots that they are addressing, as well as some persistent weeds that are slowly disappearing. We had a problem with a freshly sodded yard that was rapidly being killed by a bug infestation. They came out and diagnosed it. While we replaced the sod, Gro Masters treated the problem successfully first. Since then we have been on a scheduled program. keeping track of when your lawn needs food, pre emerge, post emerge, mole cricket prevention, etc is tough. these guys are professionals, they will make sure you get what you need when you need it. just don't ignore them when they tell you to water in a product! it can't work if you don't water it in! read more
