They also have a small OrthopedicOne Branch of medical workers that will assist if a player gets injured. Conclusion: This is a great place to play indoor soccer. I signed up for a free agent league this past season and I loved it. However, I haven't played since college, so my body did not love it and I completely tore my Achilles. This was my first time to visit the Park of Roses although my wife has been here several times in…read morethe past. We were here 4th week of June which means we missed the PEAK blossoms. Their website says that the peak time to visit in EARLY JUNE but our schedules didn't gibe with visiting in early June. Despite missing the PEAK, we were still able to see many gorgeous displays and blossoms. There are more differnt kinds of roses than I knew exisied. There is even a section devoted to HERTIAGE roses - that is roses cultivated BEFORE 1867 which, according to their literature was the birth of the era of today's roses. Whetstone Park is a huge park and the Park of Roses is just a part of the larger park. NOTE - there are no restrooms in the Park of Roses. There must be restrooms elsewhere in the park but they were not evident from the Park of Roses. This is well worth visiting and I'm going to mark my calendar to visit during EARLY JUNE next year.

This is a 22-mile, maintained, beautiful trail that connects to the Olentangy trail…read more It's a paved surface and wide enough for cyclists and pedestrians, similar to the Scioto or Olentangy trails. It's surrounded by trees and flows along Alum Creek. There are quite a few bridges you go over. We saw quite a few cyclists out in the morning. Colorful leaves were abundant along the trail, and it was peaceful - even on a Saturday morning.

There were also small wetland/bog areas along the way, which were very pretty (home to some bugs though). It was also quite clear that the deer in the area were quite used to all of the passersby, whether on foot or pedaling, as they gave very little notice as we walked along. The trail is nicely paved, and there is good signage and trail markings where appropriate.

High Banks Metro is one of our favorite local walking/hiking places! We go here often as it's very…read moreclose to home. The Columbus Metro Park system in general is quite good - all the parks we've been to are well maintained. Meeting spaces and picnic areas are convenient to parking.... From trails to playgrounds to restrooms they are all in good condition. The High Banks Park is very popular (many Columbus people drive across the city to come here) so especially on weekends finding parking can be a challenge. Plan way ahead if you want to get a picnic spot (shelter houses are by reservation most of the time). Kudos to Columbus for investing in the area's green spaces!

We…read moreloved how there were trails, paved pathways, small parks, and play areas for children all in one place. It was beautiful and very unexpectedly large. You could easily spend an entire day here walking multiple trails. We would recommend bringing water because we did not see water fountains or stations, and some stretches of trail were quite long. We would also recommend exploring and seeing what you find. We found a fun area with wooden exercise and play equipment. We spent about 30 minutes playing with all of the pieces. It was so much fun and we are already planning our next trip back!
