I couldn't have asked for better teachers, and they are the only reason this review isn't one star. Unfortunately, my experience with the ownership was the complete opposite. Joyce was extremely unprofessional and dismissive when speaking with me as a parent. When I requested that my twins remain together--a decision that had already been supported in the 3-year-old program--she laughed at my request and told me she didn't know why I would think they would allow that. Rather than having a respectful conversation or discussing the reasons behind the policy, I felt belittled and disrespected. As a parent, I expect to be treated with professionalism, even if a request cannot be accommodated. There is a respectful way to explain policies and work with families, and unfortunately, that did not happen here. Instead, I felt judged and spoken to as though my concerns and my parenting decisions were invalid. Because of the way I was treated, I made the difficult decision to withdraw my children from the program. It's disappointing because the teachers were exceptional, but respectful communication from leadership is just as important. I hope ownership reflects on how they interact with families and understands that parents deserve to be heard and treated with courtesy

There's plenty of parking, and I really appreciated that you can bring your own snacks and drinks to leave in the checked bag area--so convenient for moms! The staff was very friendly and upfront with any issues little ones may end up experiencing. It was nice to get a daily report of my child's eating and potty habits. The ability to pay on your own is awesome. This allows the staff more focus on the little ones. There is one lady who has been working there for years, and was great to talk to and even better with my 2 year old. With the misses working, being able to pick up my kid from daycare and appreciating the focused staff working with me as I figured out how it all works was awesome. Jolly bee childcare NEVER CALLED TO NOTIFY me about what happened. Instead they waited until my husband went to pick up my son and only informed him about the obvious scratches on his cheek. Now I understand kids can be kids but what am I doing paying $165 a week for my son to come home marked up? I called jolly bee the next day to unenroll my son and the lady who I spoke with was so rude and told me "okay I will just bill you in advance" before she hung up on me before I can get a word in. RUN from this place if you want childcare providers who actually care about your little ones and not just about the money you pay them. . ALSO I would like to add that they would go through my sons diapers supplies like as if was water! My son didn't even go through a box in a month. It is clean, organized and overall a wonderful facility. ATB offers after school care directly across the street from Newport Elementary which is very convenient! During inclement weather, they have a van that transports the kids. Mrs. Debbie chooses her staff wisely and wants the best for the kids. Debbie and her staff have a fantastic setup, they truly care about the kids and they have a tremendous amount of activities for the kids to do while they are there. Our son asks to be picked up late some days because he has so much fun! Some of his favorite things are the Lego area, playing games, drawing at the drawing tables, playing Minecraft on the Xbox or racing on the Wii, or outdoor activities like basketball, smack ball, and four square. In addition to all of that, our son gets the majority of his homework done at ATB which is a huge help to our nightly routine. Because he is afforded the snack and quiet time after school, our evenings are peaceful. It is a win-win-win for parents to know their kids are safe, have a protective atmosphere, and have time for homework and socializing with their friends. During the summer, ATB also offers a structured and fun summer camp program including specific activities each day and two field trips a week. My son looks forward to seeing the calendar for the summer every year when it's published. All in all, this is a fantastic child care facility that has become a part of our family. We will truly miss it when our son ages out! We would encourage any family looking for after school care to visit Debbie and the facility. Nancy was great to work with and so communicative from the start. Our nanny Bev was a dream! From the moment I met her I knew my sweet girl was in good hands. At one point, I went to check on her and our baby had fallen asleep on her chest. It was so wonderful knowing I could enjoy my brother's wedding without having to worry about the baby. In addition, Nancy helped recommend a last minute dog sitter for our four golden retrievers that we had brought with us for the weekend. Overall, an incredible experience. Worth every penny.
