If you're not into cake and coffee (ahhh.. isn't everybody) Alfina's have a few light lunch options available including a variety of salads, mixed sandwiches, quiche and toasted foccacias. I have only ever had coffee here as I am almost always on a diet when I visit and I swear I gain a kg just looking at these cakes! As if their delicious cakes and coffee weren't enough - they also sell gorgeous little giftware's like homemade jewellery and the like. I was greeted with a friendly smile and excellent service that went above and beyond to answer my questions about their unique food choices. Today's lunch consisted of a spiced beef burger and a lime milkshake with cheesy fries on the side. The food was as good as the service, maybe even better. The burger was made just right, packed with flavour with a fresh bun toasted to exactly my liking. The chips were crispy on the outside and still juicy on the outside with just as much flavour to offer as the burger. This is certainly a place I will be coming back to again!!

They're not rude, it's just they seem like they want you to order your food and get out. I once ordered a takeaway meal and when I got home, realised they had forgotten something. This wasn't a huge deal however the next time I went to go, I rang up for a take away order, this was roughly 1 hour before closing time and the guy told me that he had already turned off the oil. I said "don't you close in an hour" and he said " no we close in 30 minutes" I told him that their internet page said the wrong time and he didn't seem to care about that. I also asked why they couldn't cook something as they still had 30 minutes before they were supposed to close and he just told me again that he had turned the oil off. With these two things happening two visits in a row, I decided I probably won't be eating here again.
