Writing this review is very much a surprise for me because I have been meaning to write a…read morecompletely different one. We have used Pristine twice now. Both times, the team showed up on time, were pleasant and did a great job. After the first time, my husband even wrote a glowing review in our "Next Door" community. Based on recent events, my husband has taken down his review and I am now unable to write the glowing review I had planned and here is why. Pristine cleaned our windows a few weeks ago. We thought they did a great job. For the most part they did. After they left though, later that night, we noticed that the glass panel in our front door was all of a sudden foggy. We are observant people so we know it wasn't like that the way before the windows were washed. We didn't make much of it, as we just figured we would call Brandon and he'd know how to fix it. We figured maybe it was a chemical residue that he could remove. We weren't worried. What transpired next was both a shock to us and just completely unprofessional. Brandon immediately went on the defensive, accusing me of accusing him of ruining our door panel. He wasn't interested in what the problem was, just in defending his company. It was an irrational, crazy conversation; one I thought would play out quite differently. Did he think we were trying to get a free door panel from him?!?! After a few texts back and forth, he agreed to come and take a look at it. That was March 21st. On April 3rd, he still had not come. So I texted him again, not wanting to get on the phone with him again. He did not respond. I texted him two days later. He did not respond. Later that day I said, ok I guess I will air my grievance in my review. That got his attention and he texted back right away. He said he'd be over tomorrow. He did not show up. He did not call to say he wouldn't show up. That was 6 days ago. So here I am warning all of you to NOT hire Pristine. If everything goes great, then you'll be okay, but should you have any problem of any kind, they will not have the attitude of "how can we make this better," as any good business should have. They will leave you high and dry; make you feel like you are a terrible person who is clearly trying to get away with something. People who know me for 5 minutes know I am not that person and I am deeply offended by his words and his actions. And his inactions. In my opinion, they are not worth the risk. There are plenty of other window washing companies out there that conduct themselves with integrity and treat their clients with respect.

I hired New Surface Exteriors to pressure wash my pool deck, house, driveway, and sidewalk as well…read moreas to clean the gutters and treat the roof for mildew stains. I paid them $1,210.00. Before Leon and his assistant started work, I asked them if they were going to clean the gutters before they started pressure washing. "Oh, yes, we always do," Leon responded. Everything seemed to be OK when they finished and I paid them. Then my wife pointed out a small protruding palm frond from a gutter and asked if they actually did clean the gutters. I got on a ladder and saw the mess below that I took photos of. One gutter was clogged and filled with water. Several gutters were not even touched. I called Leon and he said he would send someone to take care of it. A young guy with a blower showed up. He left before I could check his work. I got back on the ladder and saw one gutter full of debris. I called Leon and he was very arrogant and defensive. I told him to forget about it - I would call another company to which he said, "Yes, that would be a good idea. Have a nice day." When I pay someone that much money, I expect a job well-done and I like to think I can trust them. They probably thought I would never be up on a ladder to check their work. And as a side note, the chemical they used on the roof killed part of a hibiscus bush that was below a gutter. Leon warned that he would have his assistant standing below with a hose to keep the plants safe. My next door neighbor had his roof treated the next day with another company. No toxic chemicals, no dead plants, but a clean roof for him.
