One thing that surprised me was that the gal gave us a little discount on one of the pies, because it got a little darker than she would have liked... even though we had thought nothing of it. Just goes to show that they care about their product too. There was some seating outside, but we took our food across the road where there were a couple of picnic tables and a great view of the river and birdlife. It is nothing fancy, but if you're looking for a quick and casual lunch, this a place that I would stop at again.

They use Pablo and Rusty beans which I hadn't had before but I shall now be seeking out around Sydney if I can. The food was also divine! I had the pulled pork brioche which was mouthwatering. The pork almost melted in my mouth and the apple sauce on the bun was home made. They also have a range of delicious homemade cupcakes and cakes in a display case as you walk in. The white chocolate and raspberry and the cherry ripe cupcakes were the personal favourite of the barista so we had to try them and there were no regrets there. There's also a variety of local wines from the Gloucester and Hunter Regions for sale as well as on their menu. They seem to do tapas style foods at night which I can imagine would be a great treat! Even with the crowds it wasn't overly loud and very easy to hold a conversation. There are quaint knick knacks for sale and the whole place has a warm homely feel.
