john griffith, divorce attorney is super expensive and got me zero for my divorce to a man i had been married to for over 24.5 years. i got zero spousal support, even tho i was a stay at home mom for many years.
i followed my ex-husband all over the usa, for his career, 1st as a us army officer and then, when he got out of the military, for his post-military career. i myself am a medical doctor.
this put a huge strain on my ability to earn a decent living myself-- because we were constantly moving.not for my career , for his. in addition, my ex husband, kept all his income in his own accounts, that i could not access. he was sent to korea 3 times whilst he was in the usarmy & i was at home in maryland, a state where i knew no one, had no family & hated from the get go.
this man had more than one affair with other women. we lived together before marriage and had one daughter, who i took care of myself, without any financial help from my child's father..
..after finishing my residency, i moved with my toddler to the chicago vicinity to live with my father and his wife. they helped me take care of my toddler and i found a job in chicago that paid well & i was only there 4 days per week. i left that job when i married this man i am referring to. the usarmy does not offer jobs for spouses.
i constantly complained to the usarmy, because they often sent surveys to spouses, but nothing ever changed. once he was transfered back to california, but told me on the phone "don''t come"...so i didn't. i stayed behind in maryland alone with 2 little girls by then.
long story short, this man, decided to get even with me when i filed to divorce him, which i had done about 4 times. and then retracted, when he would beg me back...so he threw me out of "our family home" with a restraining order, because i yelled at him...
for all this i get zero spousal support, i owe my ex husband $6500 in back child support for our youngest daughter, who i delivered when i was 42 years old. there is a 10 year age span between our 1st child and our 3rd.
john griffith did a poor job representing me. he got facts completely confused. he said i moved to fullerton, ca-- i never did live there. my ex did. alone. without me. having an affair. my 4.5 year old daughter heard him having sex with another woman and told me, her mom, about it. my ex husband supposedly thought my child was asleep. she wasn't. she told her mom, me afterwards. i was disgusted. john griffith failed to mention any of this. which had a huge impact on the way i felt about my ex husband...
1. lying
2. cheating on me with other women
3. keeping our money locked up in accounts i could not access
4. spending money excessively, which we argued about constantly
5. stealing pain medication from me, for my chronic lumbo-sacral spine pain--
culminating with my ex-husband drilling a hole into the safe i had bought, not to keep burglars out, to keep my own spouse out ...then he finally confessed, yes it was indeed my ex-husband, who stole my pain medication. i knew it all along, but he was such a good liar, i just told myself "the truth will come out"...it finally did, but inspite of all this evidence--i came out of divorce with almost no money...
i filed for divorce again. i couldn't take it anymore. after he drilled the hole into my safe. i found a lawyer, who closed her business on me, i had to then find another divorce lawyer...that lawyer made me cry on purpose...
eventually john griffith was recomended to me.
but now that we are divorced i am so poor i am on food stamps and have applied for early retirement from social security administration.
meanwhile my ex is earning upwards of $200,000 annually. while i am dirt poor.
this is the service john griffith, attorney provided to me at huge cost, which i have not even finished paying for. don't hire him. find someone else. that is my advice. read more
