Driver's are not helpful especially if you are not from the area and have no clue about where to exit and direction to go. It's possible that they're new Driver's and don't know the route. Jackson taxi is a cool taxi company because you can always negotiate the price. They will work with…read moreyou. They're the only taxi company in Jackson. If you would like to see the cars to become nicer you can always not negotiate the price :) taxi insurance is 4000-10000 a year. Which is a problem with uber and Lyft as well. If Jackson taxi would be open on Sundays uber and Lyft wouldn't keep growing and than going away all the time.
