Biggest store I have ever been to but of course there was a similar sized queue which fortunately moved quite fast. Plenty of seating but nothing else to mention. read more

Is this the best pie I've ever had? Probably…read more The crust is not too thick and delightfully flavoured. The beef and blue cheese filling was fabulous, rich with the cheese and gravy perfectly melding together. At £3.25, great value too. Also it made my bag smell incredible.
After a fair amount of Twitter stalking and taking note of the numerous awards they're winning, I…read moreeventually got myself down to LOTP to check it out for myself. First impressions were of a really cool place to hangout (seating for about 20), with an atmosphere and decor that wouldn't be out of place in the Northern Quarter or Didsbury. I got chatting to the girl behind the counter who was very knowledgable of their product range and after myself umming, arrhing and probably over thinking it went for their pie of the week - the pulled chicken balti pie. At £3 for a pie that you'd definitely need to share it was super tasty from first to last bite (lots of meat, good range of veg and a lovely crusty pie case) and good value along with it. I can't wait to go back and try their standard range of pies, see what their next pie of the week is and even give the Stockport pie a go - basically posh meat and potato! Stockport needs more places like LOTP - here's hoping it's the first of many to arrive on the scene.
Amazing pies, amazing beers!

The real deal Café, super nice staff, great coffee. I only have powdered eggs in my hotel and at least three times a week. I have ventured out to a new place to try a good English breakfast and coffee. Good crowd, clean, great service and mostly a really nice English breakfast. Everything is expensive these days so I know some think this is a bit steep, but 12 pounds is not that much for what you get. Will come back again with pictures, but this really hit the spot and got me going for the day. Highly recommend.!!!!

I have been there twice now and both times found the waitresses rude and the service slow. When ordering a slice of cake and a pot of tea I would have expected them to be served together, instead I received the cake first with a 5 minutes wait before the tea arrived. I would return because the cakes are so good!

It doesn't look like much on the outside but when you go in your welcomed by a lovely cake shop with some fabulous wedding and birthday on display. You walk through the cake shop to the back in to the tea room which is just how a tea should be. Big french doors open on to on to a lovely garden with wild flowers and roses. There is a small play area too. We had breakfast there and it was lovely. Happy runny yolks and hot buttery toast. I check out the menu you they do, do a number afternoon teas but it is best to book for that. They also have an area where you have small parties. On our way out we checked out the Chocolate shop and the chocolates and fudge we got was great. Check the chocolate chilli fudge, as a bit of a kick but works very well. I am planning on going back for afternoon soon and I'll update this review then.
