I've wanted to give this a couple days to pass because emotions since Bernie's passing have been…read morepretty raw for us and I wanted to write this with a clear head. I've been a loyal customer with Franklin Animal Clinic (Franklin, PA) for decades. I enjoy the vets, I've had minimal problems, and care was mostly on-par with expectations. When my Saint Bernard, Bernie, was in the midst of failing this week, a call was made to alert them that Bernie was on his way, was in severe pain, unable to walk, difficulty breathing, really struggling, and we needed to see someone immediately. We had an arrival time of 12:40 pm however, we were told that they were "closed for lunch until 1:00 pm" and even worse, they couldn't see him until 1:40. Now, I don't know about you but what has happened to compassion and sensitivity in this world? You have a dying dog in your parking lot and the response is "Wait until our lunch is over?" Bernie died in the back of my vehicle in their parking lot that day. He never made it in to see a vet for either a diagnosis or to be humanly euthanized. I'm a huge advocate of promoting local business but for this to happen, I'm disheartened. I'm going to turn commenting off on this post because this is strictly for informational purposes. I wanted to put this out there for you to form your own opinion on this facility based on this experience. Our pets are so important to us and to know that my Bernie died in the parking lot waiting for a vet is unacceptable. I'm heartbroken it ended like this but, at minimum, I'm glad Bernie was surrounded by his family, getting belly scratches as he took his last breath.

oh my God barnyard kennels you know I'm surprised. I honestly didn't make a review of this place…read morealready if you are looking at reviews for barnyard counts this is the one for you and we are gonna go in depth about how this place works with the run down is really everything so it's a pretty long drive right depending on where you live. It's probably a long drive but that long drive is worth it especially in the morning you just get the man going up route eight just get the field to get fab in the morning air. I'll make sure let your dog out window window if he jumps that's OK just get them out if you're starting to lose interest in this reveal keep it really good so it's a little bit of a long drive right but you go to the countryside it's really nice and then if I don't get to the place you turn right and you go behind this road and there's a house right next to the kennel because owners actually live there and they get to hear the torment of dogs screaming at night when you go there there's a date it's a big date and I have to open it and then you open the door on the right now your dog may want to take a Dookie right right after you enter the gate you may want to take a Dookie and you could see the picture below is my dog when he was taking a Dookie because they do that guys don't get mad at him his poop smeared off maybe a little bit of a there but it's OK. They have payroll and things there as well for the doggies for you I mean, but yeah I go to the desk they take them off and you'll never see your dog again for the next two days, so go out throw up because of the smell of you know the poop and that's wrap guys and now you go back you pick up your other family members back to your house pick up your other family members and go out on your trip love your depressed because your dog is gone but yeah I really like barnyard kennels that was you know overview of you know, saying how we we go but I think it's a great place so yeah definitely definitely check it out and I have some fun photos for you to check out below. Thank you.

Interesting place. I took my 160 lb Great Dane there for three nights while we went camping. Since…read morewe had no cell service where we were, they couldn't get in touch with us or they would have, I'm sure. On our way home, they called us in the car to tell us horror stories about our dog's behavior. Holy crap, I thought the worst. When we got there, they said they couldn't 'connect' with my dog and to not bring her back again. WTF. They had her crammed in a small cage and God only knows how often they let her out. I'll tell you what was wrong with my dog, she was pissed off about being in a cage made for a beagle. We even took the dog there weeks ahead of time to meet them , they said, ' aw, she'll be no problem'. if you jammed me in a little cage for three days, I wouldn't 'connect' with you either. Basically, they have all of these little, we'll behaved decoy dogs running around but couldn't handle a big one. They could have told us that up front and saved us the $$$ and agitation. Unless you have a dog the size of a hamster that they'll have no problem handling, stay away from this group.

The owner was very comfortable with my dogs, one of which is a 110 lb German Shepard. Both dogs warmed up to him immediately. The dogs had large runs with outdoor access and a large outdoor area to play in. The kennel itself is exceptionally clean. They were very well taken care of and I feel comfortable leaving them as I know they are in good hands.

Within the past month we had an unexpected illness that meant we had to go to Cleveland for a couple days. Called last minute not knowing how long we would need to use their services. Very accommodating, our dog stayed 3 days. Came home no problem, and again we needed their services. We were unsure of how long we would be, they worked with us extending our dogs stay. They sent pictures and our dog was having fun. We kept in contact and let them know the situation. Our dog was going to run out of food because I only packed a week of food, I was under a lot of stress and they suggested that I could have Amazon deliver her food so I wouldn't have to leave to bring her food. I am so grateful for their quick thinking, and the way that they just kept working with us, not knowing our schedule. They showed compassion and understanding that I didn't expect. I was worried about my loved one in the hospital and it was a huge relief knowing I didn't have to worry about my dog. I knew that the people working there genuinely love animals and they saw what a sweetheart my dog was and allowed for her high energy and wore her out. She enjoyed herself, but more importantly we felt good with our choice. She went back after we got home and didn't even look back as she walked to the dog area. I would highly recommend the Hubbard Pet Resort. They really like dogs and it shows.

I previously believed FL to be the highest price, until I visited Slippery Rock Pet grooming. I was charged $72 for a basic groom of a 9# poodle, with the only extra being to have her nails smoothed with a dremel. This is $25 more than what I paid 3 months ago in FL. I cannot recommend nor support a business that is so extremely over priced.

Secondly she spend a lot of time at the beginning of class telling about her credentials, experience and dogs she's taught in the past. When class starts late, additional people are late and she talks about herself each class, the classes ended up being less than 30 minutes. We did not return and went elsewhere.
