My insurance tried to negotiate and that didn't work, so now I am stuck. I liked my doctor there, but this is crazy. Talking to some other people this is a common thing that they pull. So if you go there keep an eye out because you will end up in collections with no idea why even after having hit your deductible in full.

After listening to my circumstance to include my pointing and demonstrations, he explained what he believed was happening with my ligatures. Then he laid me out, applied some pressure here and there, and suggested a couple of exercises. Follow-up appointment was made for three days later. I felt SO MUCH BETTER, I could not believe it. I thought better of dancing into his office just in case I might trip.He asked, "On a scale of 1 to 100, how does it feel?" I said; "80%, it is almost normal" He asked "Are you sure?" I just smiled and demonstrated my movements which were extremely different than my previous visit. He smiled! IF you have a stiffness, a mobility, or a joint problem, THIS is the man to see. Jo in the billing department is the worst I have ever experienced. After sending bills to my 13 y.o. daughter at the incorrect address, even after being seen on several occasions and filling out updated paperwork. Our updated information, along with my insurance information was never added into the system. I was sent to collections for bills that were never sent through insurance or that I ever received due to incompetence of the front desk and billing department. After finding out I was sent to collections for these bills I've never received, I still had to call two different occasions to correct account information that was previously provided to them. I asked to speak to administration to which I was told, "we don't have anyone", I was directed to Dr. Hibbs who on two separate occasions would call my phone but when I returned the phone call within a minute the answering machine was turned on or she was "already gone for the day", At no point was I actually able to speak with her directly. The overall theme was, it was my fault their system was not updated, it was my fault they hadn't updated address in over 3 years despite multiple visits, and it was my fault they didn't have the correct insurance information in their system. As someone who works in health care, I could not imagine ever speaking to/treating a patient the way I have been treated with this clinic. At one point Billie/Bobby? Jo stated, "I'm sorry you cant pay your bills" .... referring to bills I have never received as she was sending them to a 13 y.o. child. After the problems we have had between the front desk and billing department, and now lack of professionalism or accountability from "administration", had I have known this privately owned clinic would have worse customer service than a big corporate facility, I would have went with Monument Health initially, as at least Monument Health has standards for how patients are spoken to, along with accurate accounting systems and accountable/educated business office personnel. These are not isolated incidents, since sharing my experience, I have found many people in similar situations, who have been treated with absolute disrespect by the ancillary staff at Creekside Medical.

The nurses and the doctor were all very nice and very thorough. Overall, the experience was quite good, especially given that I had COVID and no one ever made me feel like I was a worry to them. Since it was my first experience with COVID, I expected to be treated like a leper, but that didn't happen. It was a much more relaxed event, for which I'm quite thankful. I'm feeling better every day too.

Unfortunately, everyone at RCMC and now Monument just don't have time address their patients. I get patients are not important enough and will address my health needs elsewhere.
