There are things in life you need and thats to know a Plumber, Electrician & a Mechanic, especially a mechanic you can trust. I dropped off my little honda jazz off today with Paul. Hes a one man mechanic who is also a big fan of social media (live by the sword die by the sword) & radio star (The Car Guru on Oldham's 96.2 The Revolution). Paul made me feel very much at easy today when dropping my car off. A Very friendly bloke who explains stuff in english & doesn't confuse you with mechanical jargon. He is also "Female Friendly" approved. As a driver i'm now glad i have found somewhere where i feel i won't be ripped off.

Fortunately, those pesky reprobates didn't count on someone witnessing the incident as well as the guilty party driving away without stopping! As such, with the involvement of the Police and my insurer, I have fortunately been in the position to get the work fixed at zero cost to myself... Step-in Lancashire Motor Bodies, saviour of the hour and supplier of some of the best customer service I have ever had the pleasure of receiving. True, I didn't have to shop around as they are the preferred repairer of my insurer, but I have to say that I was a little sceptical on first researching them as there were only a couple of aged reviews on the web (not on Yelp, obviously!) and these weren't exactly glowing. Well, my experience was different. On finding them, tucked away as they are in Salford, but only 30 seconds off Bury New Road, you could be mislead by the exterior of the business premises, as it isn't exactly glamorous, but then again, it is a car bodywork repairer! However, the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. They lead me through the whole process with my insurer, collected my car and delivered a courtesy car which was mine free of charge, phoned me regularly with updates on the work and again when it was finished. They even returned my car, resplendent with new front wing, fully valeted inside and out. I couldn't recommend them highly enough and think they are well worth every one of the 5 stars I'm giving them. I hope you don't require their services, but if you do, they'll look after you (and your car!).

The service was outstanding, excellent job my car went in Wednesday afternoon & was back with me by Friday afternoon, the panel that had been scraped badly looked as smooth, shiny & new as when I first bought the car. Every member of staff was friendly, gave me regular updates & knew what they were talking about. They definitely exceeded my expectations & I would feel very happy sending my car there again.

i use this garage regularly after i used to use a dealer. i find bolzs a very good garage although…read morea little expensive they aren't as dear as the dealers but still not cheap. the difference is with these guys you know the jobs getting done properly and if they encounter any problems they ring and tell you the price or if you can get away with it for a bit. on my last se3rvice when i went to pick up my car the mechanic came out and told me my brakes were at 20% and a few other things, where as at a dealer you just get a sheet. much better customer appreciation
