The irrigation system was installed by an outsourced company and they did a decent job. However, Global Lawn Care told me I needed to pay $3000 for the sod. They came to measure not once, but twice. I allowed them to do the job and it was absolutely terrible. Half of the grass they use was already dead and the work was very patchy. The front of my house, which is the first thing people see is still bald in many spots. They left a pile of rocks sitting on the walkway...DANGEROUS!!! Although the staff are friendly, the work is very poor. I am not only in the process of looking for a new lawn care company, I'm considering seeking litigation for this gross wrongdoing. They also said they would install the sprinkler covers however they only put in a few and the rest are still sitting in the bag. BEWARE!!!

What I appreciated most was their attention to detail and great customer service. They were friendly, easy to communicate with, and made sure I was satisfied before finishing the job. If you're looking for dependable and high-quality lawn care, I highly recommend Global Lawn Care & Property Services. I will definitely be using their services again.

Maloney provided directions for sod care and these were followed carefully. After a week or two, the new sod had died. When I complained, Matt told me that sod webworms had jumped from my establish lawn into the newly sodded area and this is why the new sod died. This being the case, there was nothing that Maloney had to do. This did not make sense since my established lawn was healthy, and continued to be healthy. With this in mind, I contacted the University of Florida Extension Service and explained the situation. I was advised that "... really don't think sod webworms where the problem as the existing turf grass looks fairly good... webworms would not only go after the new newly laid sod unless there was a severe infestation already in the new sod". I called Maloney and explained what the experts at the University of Florida told me. Matt then told me that he did not grow the sod. He explained that he purchased the sod and because of this fact, his company had no responsiblity. I argued that I purchased of sod from his company and not the sod grower. This made no difference! Weeks ago, I sent a letter to Maloney asking for reimbursement in the sum of $465 which includes the cost of the sod, old sod removal and installation of new sod. To the best of my knowledge, Maloney has not responded and I have been totally ignored. Unfortunately, my next step is the small claims court. Not my choice, but I have no alternative. My advice is to think twice before using Maloney!

They claim to be Aborists but it is almost as if they have no training on how to trim a "palm tree"…read moreat all. Granted they worked hard, but the owrkers do not know any better. It looks like some amatuers came through and over trimmed an entire neighborhood and left just a few palms standing up on top of each palm tree, which any aborist will tell you is not good. Palm trees are different from Deciduous and Coniferous trees. Older fronds provide nutrients as they go to yellow then brown. When trimming, you are to leave anything at or above 9 o'clock and 3 o'clock alone. Not only do these older fronds continue to provide sustenance for the new fronds, but as they wilt, they pull the base of the frond away from the tree, creating space for the tree to expand and grow as thick as the stump below it. By ridiculously over cutting, these palms are now "growth interrupted", and will never grow out properly. The tree is not going to get much taller, and any additional height will be string bean thin at the top. Now most people giving good reviews have no idea how palms grow and are just happy they will not have to deal with the palms for a few years, because it has been so over trimmed! They are conditioned to see these over trimmed palms as "neatly trimmed" when actually the growth is being permanantly stunted, and the top of the tree will stay thin, because cutting the young fronds to soon stops the expansion and strangles the neck of the tree. Normal trees will grow back if you cut below the "branches and leaves line". Did you know if you cut the top leaves completely off of any palm tree, it dies.....we all see a very tall stump on occasion....it is from over cutting.

Due to the constant rain, our plants began to look like Jack and the Beanstalk. Green Topps came to our house in May and did all of the trimming and cutting. Our landscaping looked fantastic. Brendan Duffy, came to our house again and we scheduled for August. Brendan is great, very knowledgeable, professional and personable. He is a wonderful resource and very responsive to questions and emails. Today they sent a crew headed up by Chris, with Juan and Sergio. Chris takes the time to listen and is very professional. I have plants that are extremely sentimental to me (they were originally grown by my mother over 70 years ago) I spoke to Chris about these plants and he and the crew were very careful not to cut them. Chris, Juan and Sergio worked incredibly hard and removed all of the debris. A special shout out to Juan. When the crew was done, we walked around the property. We noticed that the reeds by the seawall still needed to be cut. Juan immediately said he was going to get the clippers and he took down the reeds. As tired as he must have been, Juan went the extra mile for us. Chris, Juan and Sergio are very professional and really know what they are doing. Prior to the scheduled date, Green Topps has a utility company come and mark where the underground cables are to avoid any potential damage. I can't recall any other landscape company doing that. You cannot find a better company than Green Topps to transform plants and trees that have gone completely out of control due to all the rain, into a gorgeous, manicured landscape.

The man operating the weed whacker talked on his phone most of the time. Therefore the job was shoddy. Same with the man mowing. Eddie did answer my last text when I told him I was firing Florida Lawn Care and Maintenance. Only because he wanted payment for the last shoddy cut that I wouldn't have even called a cut..
