I called them to get an estimate on some landscaping and work I needed done in my yard and driveway. It took them 2 weeks to come out and look at my property. Then after not hearing from them for another week, we called to ask for the estimate. They told us to come to the nursery. We drove up to the nursery and were told they didn't have the price yet for the pavers we needed. At that point, I already knew I wasn't going to hire them. I asked them to give me an estimate for the labor and they weren't quite sure. Why waste my time in coming to the nursery if you can't tell me anything? That's not professional. Finally, after a month, we were told it would cost $1,300.00 for the labor and pavers. By then, I had gotten a quote from someone else which charged me $900.00 for same.

They charged us $300 more than quoted and had our tractor for over a month. Got it back and didn't even get through a full mow before the belt that they apparently replaced came off. Called to ask what exactly was repaired and they couldn't tell me except a belt and battery was replaced......we paid almost $800. They pick the tractor back up and have the tractor for another month! I call to find out the status of repairs because it had been so long again and was told the tractor has been done and they don't know why no one has called to let us know. They just simply forgot about it because it wasn't on their "list" of callbacks to make. Not sure what that means but just wow on the whole experience. My sister took her tractor here too and did "name drop" the same referral. She received completely different service- she paid much less and got her tractor back within a week. Guess who you know helps you out here which is unfortunate. Everyone should get the same service no matter who you know.

I bought a Ferris commercial mower from Shawn at Phoenix Lawn & Garden four years ago. ( Love the…read moremachine) Since then, I've had annual visits with them for service and parts (oil, filter,etc). Every time, I'm impressed how friendly & professional they are. This time, I purchased two very large belts, some oil and a filter. I took them home and installed them.........incorrectly. When I started the engine, it immediately shredded one of the new belts. Now, I'm 77 years old and its not an easy task for me to get up and down from my knees. So, I decided to load it on the trailer, swallow my pride and take in into Phoenix for them to install the 2nd new belt. Shane, Shawn's son, was exceptionally nice. He didn't even use the old standby "WE FIX DO IT YOURSELF REPAIRS". They had me going again in short order!
