September 2026 - I came here to warn others of the vendors at this market.
This place is full of garbage now. And I'm specifically leaving my review to warn others of a very deceptive seller there.
In the very corner of the market there is a vendor who has been there weekly. He is a middle eastern man, older, missing several teeth. He has an abundance of goodies - but don't waste your hard earned money or time with him. He is selling a lot of fake jewelry, lots of FAKE video games, and if you go through his stuff and find something you like (that doesn't appear fake or counterfeit) he will just argue with you about the price it's selling for on ebay. He took my phone out of my hands when I showed him the price online of the item I was looking at. He didn't like that it wasn't actually selling at what he is asking for. I asked him can we just make a deal with me on this item. Instead of that he tells me he needs to get his own phone to do "second research" . So he goes on ebay and manipulates the findings - telling me the item is 2 to 3 times what he is asking. He accused me of showing him an old ebay SOLD listing (ebay only shows the last 90 days, but ok sure), and that I "just want a deal" (i mean it's a flea market, DUH). I tell him no, you're just finding the absolute highest price listings (not SOLDs mind you) for this item. He doesn't want to make any deals with people. He wants the most money, tax free, for the least amount of work. His tent and setup have items that have been sitting literally months - I have watched them continue not to move. Things are moldy and mildewy. He doesn't put a price tag on anything because he wants you to get your hopes up and ask him, just to leave with nothing. I told him I was more than willing to make a deal with him, but he didn't like the actual facts at what this item is truly selling for. And plus, people go to the flea market for a DEAL, not to pay the inflated ebay price on an item. On top of this, it's not the first time he has told me he could just "sell it on ebay" for me to see the very same item at his tent again the very next week. He just lets everything sit outside endlessly, exposed to all of the elements. I would proceed with extreme caution if I was considering buying anything from him, especially electronics or video games- it is very likely to be water damaged, moldy, and not working. If you saw the tent and his setup, you would see what I mean. It's in the North West corner of the market. And he doesn't care if you bring up any condition issues to him, so don't waste your breath. Looks moldy so you want a better price? He doesn't care cause he can "just sell it on ebay".
And it isn't just him that is a problem, it's growing full of deceptive and just plain lazy sellers. AI slop signage, people smoking cigarettes and weed openly, counterfeit items, amazon returns/temu crap - and the grounds are worsening here too. It's hard to walk on the uneven gravel pavement which is full of potholes everywhere.
It used to be so much better here. People were actually willing to make deals. Now it's just the same overpriced crap that I see week after week. It's unwelcoming on every accord.
I'm not giving that guy my money ever again, I have bought stuff from him to be burned. I'm warning others to please check your video games here. He is selling a lot of fakes, and at inflated prices. This flea market just isn't the same anymore. It even seems like they allow people to practically live on the grounds. It's just unwelcoming. It's like being at a really run down trailer park now.
I would recommend the Armada Flea Market instead. It is worth the drive. And the sellers in Armada are still willing to make deals for others - cause that is what the flea market is about. It's also a much more welcoming market in Armada - gravel/pebble paths and an actual public bathroom. Proceed with caution. read more
