I was totally surprised given that Houston is close to Beaumont, TX where most of the refineries are located. In talking with a few of the locals, it appears that Houston has additional embedded taxes. With the high tolls in Houston coupled with this higher gas prices, I was happy glad to exit from Houston. Love Houston for its culture, shopping and dining. With that said it is a very expensive place to live.

Almost every Circle K is very overpriced these days and this one is no different. Service is very mixed, kinda bad, but then it's just a convenience store. The selection is good and they're usually pretty busy (one of the reasons this was our first time here). There are a few rare amazing Circle K locations, for various reasons. This wasn't one of them, but it's still very convenient.
