Ms. Wooldridge didnt let any water in the room, children got thirsty and where denied water on multiple occasions when we asked for water. So I told my teacher I was denied water and she yelled at me for it. That makes me think she knows what shes doing is wrong. She also called security when we asked for water. The AP's did a good job and let us get water. Then a girl was having an allergic reaction and she was DENIED help/assistance by Ms. Wooldridge. She also called the office when she asked me a question and i said I plead the 5th. She also questioned my right for not standing for the flag and made assumptions about my life situations. Many kids have complained about being harrased and saying she is making homophobic and transphobic comments. Nothing has been done yet.

My 8th grade son was recently involved in a situation where the assistant principal Mr. Bracamontes not only slammed his hand on a table and yelled continuously at him with no witness present but also accessed and duplicated content from my child's personal cell phone without my consent, knowledge, or notification from either parent. No parent should find out after the fact that a school staff member recorded footage from their child's phone onto a personal device. This is a serious overstep and a violation of trust. Communication with parents was completely lacking, and the process felt more like intimidation than education. This kind of behavior should not be tolerated in any school setting. Encourage your students to speak up and talk about their treatment at school.

This is the high school I attended. I graduated very highly here in 1999…read more The school is a nice place. Nice grounds, nice equipment, nice building. I thought the teachers were very good. The problem was and remains the administration in Keller, and the school board. As happens way too often in Texas, the religious right controls this place. It is sad that we had to deal with the occasional anti-science teacher, or that kids would be prevented from attending graduation because of a single joint in their car. Also, at least one play has been canceled because of "inappropriate" subject matter. Also, when I was on the HS newspaper staff, the administration routinely censored out very harmless article or cartoons. Bleh.
