Was forced to drive 22 miles to the only available location open on a Saturday to get a Covid test…read more When asked, I explained that the complex in which I lived had a couple of reported Covid deaths in the past two weeks. I was asked If I planned any air travel, to which I truthfully said "yes." "In that case, it will cost $120" "Why?" I asked. Because you admitted to needing it for travel and your insurance won't cover it. "Bit why so expensive?" "It is what it is." I was told. When I had to again get a pre-flight test prior to my return, I was charged $34 in Paris, which is a VERY expensive city for any services. My issue is the exorbitant charge of FOUR TIMES the International fee by a local service, which one would expect to be more reasonable. Capitalizing on an epidemic I suppose is par for the course for today's medical community, in my opinion.

They provided really good directions and there was ample parking when I arrived. Unfortunately there was a terrible auto accident on US26S and I was held up in traffic and arrived a little late but the Doctor welcomed me and was very understanding . Both the Doctor (Kim) and her Assistant/ Secretary (Rob) made me feel at ease and made sure I was comfortable. The facility was very clean, modern, and comfortable. Since this was my first visit the Doctor had to review my medical record while I completed a new patient data form. Even so, I didn't wait more than 10 minutes maximum before being called it to see the Doctor. In my experience I found her to be very intelligent, professional, polite, courteous, thoughtful and very thorough. I really liked the way that she listened to my concerns and actually appeared to care about my well being. Instead of being like so many doctors with the DICTATOR complex she actually explained things to me in a manner that I could easily understand them and she suggested a number of options for me to consider and choose. However, I must clarify that the Doctor was very professional and she did counsel me on my weight and the ramifications and dangers to my overall health and well being. But then she countered with very sensible and viable solutions so I can also say that she is well rounded :) t was a very pleasant doctor visit if there ever was one :) I would definitely recommend her to all of my family, friends, and colleges alike. I had been prescribed an antiviral medication that provided only slight relief.
