I've found the drop off process to be easy and convenient and that was my #1 priority for my donations. It's in a good location with lots of space and wide entrances from different directions. I've been there several times this week on my way to and from work on weekdays and it's been the same guy each time. I don't know how excited I'd be to be on site from sunrise to sunset every day, but he's been pleasant each time I've gone. Obviously purging belongings can be a very emotional and painful process, especially when objects have a sentimental or perceived financial value. Does Green Drop take everything from a house? No. And it can feel personal when they say "no." In my experience, however, this is typical of most all the local businesses that accept donations. Some possessions are just trickier to rehome and it can take time and research to find the right place. I don't mind because I enjoy knowing that items X, Y, and Z are going to move along to someone else who can use them or they'll be properly recycled. I also really like that I can choose which charity will benefit from my donations and I usually receive my emailed receipt (for taxes) before I even leave the parking lot.
10/10/2017: I'm dropping my rating by one star because every single time I go, I have to re-enter my information as if I'm brand new to Green Drop. It's time consuming and frustrating. read more
