Just a heads up that after my auto accident, he was billing my insurance company between $400 and $500 for each visit that he normally charged me $45.00 for. After insurance notified me of his scalping them, I asked him what his normal visits cost and his immediate response was "what difference does it make, you're not paying it anyway. Insurance is!" He never did answer my question. After I became aware of scalping the insurance, I told him I was all better and didn't want to come back. His receptionist insisted I schedule an appointment, finally telling me she was going to have to tell Dr. Jay that I refused to come back and was jeopardizing my insurance benefits. I also ordered some orthotics from him which were "guaranteed". After several complaints about them, he finally took a look at them and told me they were okay. I can assure you, they are no difference than something I would buy from Dr. Scholls. I have regular symptoms from plantar fasciitis again, which I never had with my other pair of orthotics from the physical therapist and have used to allievate the symptoms again. If you go see him, I would strongly advise you to go with eyes wide open. I personally will never step foot in his office again and will never make a referral! NEVER!! read more
