The lesser known sister of the Arnos Vale site in Totterdown- this is another spectacular Victorian cemetery with listed monuments. The difference being that Greenbank wasn't handed a multi-million pound lottery grant for restoration. Which is a shame.
I love pottering around all the stones, seeing what names there are, who died when, who has an angel and who has a cross etc (call me weird, but it's interesting). It was stunning in the snow of early 2009!
There's a small derelict chapel on site and its bordered by tall trees.
