During that time, communications from the litigant and the litigant's legal representatives were frequently ignored. Requests for updates, documentation, and basic information often required repeated follow-ups before any response was received. Between January 14 and March 13, 2026, there were more than 14 documented requests for updates, accounting, and disbursement of funds. Mr. Casiano stated multiple times that he would provide figures and supporting documentation, but those materials were never delivered. Several messages during this period received no response at all. Public records from the California State Bar show that Mr. Casiano has previously been disciplined for failing to respond to clients and for failing to account for client funds upon request. The ongoing lack of responsiveness in this matter raises serious concerns regarding compliance with professional and fiduciary obligations. Settlement funds also appear to be held without clear explanation or necessity. Attorneys holding third-party funds are required to account for them and promptly distribute undisputed amounts. The repeated failure to do so in this case caused unnecessary delay. Key Points 3+ years of limited responsiveness 14+ documented requests between Jan 14-Mar 13, 2026 Prior California State Bar discipline for similar conduct Promised accounting and disbursement never provided This review reflects the litigant's personal experience in this matter.
