What an incredible place for healing. The therapists here are so gentle and supportive. The retreats are 5 days and if you are accepted into the program, it is at no cost (just a deposit that is refundable upon completion). If you are struggling with codependency and wounds from your childhood, this place can really make a difference. Thank you green shoe!!!! read more

Our 5-day outpatient retreats will explore in a safe and supportive environment the origins that fuel self-defeating behaviors such as addictions, trauma, mood disorders, and troubling relationships. Childhood wounding up to age 18 is approached with compassion and skills are taught in order to create a healthier and happier self.

History

Established in 2018.

The Green Shoe Retreat focus is on personal growth, self-actualization, personal and professional success in forming and maintaining healthy relationships. We work with people to raise awareness of how past family roles and family systems influence their current behaviors and relationships. Our 5-day retreat is based on Post Induction Therapy (PIT) which originated from the experimental application of strategies developed to treat the effects of childhood relational trauma. These strategies were developed by Pia Mellody through her work at The Meadows inpatient treatment center.
