Miss Yohana is a gem with a true understanding for child development and care. Not only were our kiddos loved on, but guided through appropriate learning, respectful play, and fun curriculum. He was always really hungry when we picked him up, sometimes with wet shorts and an unchanged diaper, dirty face, and he would report concerns to us. When we addressed concerns about another child hitting him, she played it down and St one point Saud that our child makes up stories. Our son still has bad memories from this experience. No AC in the daycare during the heat advisory and another parent bought her an AC. This is not a preschool. It's a glorified daycare run by a mediocre care provider. Parents be warned, I would not feel safe or comfortable ever taking my kid there again.

I am saddened to report I would not recommend MCS at this time. Our daughter joined there program…read morein January 2023 and had a wonderful experience. She will now be going into 1st grade. The school has had 2 new directors over the last 2 years and quite a bit of turnover of teachers. We enrolled our son this last academic year into the summer & just took him out due to ongoing issues with administration. My son is very active, but also a typical 3 year old. We were getting multiple daily reports that he wasn't "safe" at school due to hitting or throwing toys. This led to many days of being requested to pick him up early to go home because, "they didn't have the staff" to keep everyone safe. My husband had to take a large chunk of his PTO to accommodate these days. Multiple meetings with the school only led to documentation of what I would describe as preschoolers trying to figure it out. Ex. Another student took a toy from my son so he pushed them. My son took a toy from someone else. What we could never get to the bottom of was why the school wasn't able to manage/discipline these behaviors successfully. Rather my son was repeatedly called unsafe & asked to be removed from the school day early. In the meantime my son started to say he didn't have any friends at school, wasn't able to play with the other kids, and was always in trouble. I don't think this is the message the teachers were trying to send, but that is the message my son was internalizing. Don't get me wrong, I don't want my son or any other child to get hurt at school, but at 3 years old they are still trying to learn social skills & how to regulate. I think MCS is a great school for kids that are perhaps more mild mannered, but if your child is very active, I don't think would be the best environment for them.

The proximity to Big Dipper and Le Petit is also a major perk.

When I spoke to Doug a few weeks prior to our arrival, he wasn't sure how good the trout fishing was going to be as the river flows were quite high. But we had an amazing trip. We did two days with Doug and he is professional, personable, punctual, extremely knowledgeable of the local rivers and just made it very enjoyable. Made great lunches for our full day of fishing and gave us a tremendous amount of local history for Missoula. We caught some great fish in some conditions that were less than ideal. I would highly recommend Clear Creek Outfitters.

All my stuff outside was constantly moved by the park manager. All around it was a terrible stay, stayed a month. I've been to several parks all around Washington, Oregon, Montana, California and this is by far the worst. The dog park is a joke. Seemed like the rules only apply to certain people in the park. Some serious work needs done here, some it has potential to be a nice place just needs some major improvement.

But it it RIGHT ON highway 93 which is a major thoroughfare going to Kalispel and Whitefish. Cars and semi's all night long and they are within 50 feet of your rig. The park itself is being refurbished and actually doing quite a good job of it. Big level pad for the trailer and a side pad for the truck. Good electric, sewer and water. No cable but Antenna picks up a number of stations. So park is good, but location was UNBEARABLE. Worst night we have ever had. There are not many choices in Missoula, but definitely take a pass on this one. Can't put lipstick on a pig. LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION.
