NOT to be TRUSTED. I paid him $15 to change my watch battery. When I returned to pick it up, he…read moresaid, "I set the 'Time' but not the 'Month' or the 'Date'." Honestly I rarely use these, so trying to be kind, I told him, "NBD, I use my phone for that" .... But, then it stopped ticking 2 days later. When I returned to the store, I requested he place a new battery in & asked that he show me the package (so I could check the expiration date). He walked out from the back with just the expired battery he removed from my watch to show me. So, I said, "No, I want to see the package of the NEW battery you're putting in, so I know it's NOT EXPIRED." He returned with his supply (i.e., 2 batteries: both expired 2020). I asked him for my $15 back, and he REFUSED because he said I did not have my receipt. Then, to make matters worse! ... on my Google 1-STAR Review of LIPPA's he lied, saying he "could not find my name anywhere in his computer system" ~ trying to make it appear as if I had the wrong Jewelry Store (funny... He never did ask for my name today; he simply stated without my yellow receipt, he would not REFUND ME $15 for dishonestly placing an EXPIRED 2020 WATCH BATTERY in my wrist watch) A THIEF is a THIEF (thieves always lie; they have, or they get caught) and a LIE is a LIE: a Tiger doesn't change their stripes, no matter how big, or small their kill is. LIPPA's does NOT DESERVE Anyone's BUSINESS, or TRUST. ~ I suppose if I walked in with an expensive suit & tie to buy an engagement ring, he would have had the decency to behave himself better & not steal from someone 65 y.o. on a fixed income. Shame on this man & his mother who raised him.

We live in New York State and went to Lippa's to buy our wedding bands for our October 2020…read morewedding. Buying rings can be an overwhelming experience but Mike and the staff were super helpful on site and thoroughly went over questions such as what we wanted; what was important to us; likes/dislikes; etc - and used that info to narrow the focus and show us options that would potentially work. Both the bride and groom are super happy with the results and Lippa's wedding bands will be with us the rest of our lives. We highly recommend Lippa's.

Kay Jewelers - Christian does not have a customer, so I walk back my 4th time into the store, and she goes into the backroom

How do I know this? My space is next to Kay Jewelers, and she speaks loudly. Also, she had a recent incident with a brown person, and the cops were called. Sad day

DO. NOT. GO. HERE. EVER!!!…read more Sooooo many issues. First of all, let me preface this review by saying that I have always felt that Kay Jewelers is the Walmart of "fine jewelry." When I found out that my fiancé bought my engagement ring from Kay's I was shocked. The ring itself is actually really beautiful, an ornate Vera Wang with sapphires...gorgeous! The problem I have is not with the ring, but with the customer service (or lack thereof) my fiancé and I received after he had made his purchase. He told me he had been to multiple stores but decided to buy from Kay's because the assistant manager seemed knowledgable and made him feel comfortable. Well...OF COURSE SHE DID! She was willing to do whatever it took to make the sale, but once it was over, ALL bets were off. True colors came out. My fiancé bought my ring in September. The assistant manager originally told him the ring would arrive at the store in my size by November. At the end of November we stopped in to check on the status of the order. She typed something in the computer, then said, "Oh, I'm really sorry but that's not going to be ready until January." REALLY??? REALLY???!!! I was ALREADY married at that point and still didn't have my rings! I had already waited 3 MONTHS and now I'd have to wait ANOTHER 2 MONTHS! When we spoke with both managers they didn't seem bothered by this at all. They were completely apathetic and claimed there was, "nothing they could do." I was so upset I walked out of the store. We even considered getting our money back and going elsewhere. A few weeks later, we received a phone call that my wedding band had been sized and was ready to be picked up. The engagement ring still wouldn't be ready until January but I thought...at least I'll have my wedding band. HA! What a joke! When I got the band I noticed that the work was VERY sloppy. The first thing I noticed was that the ring was an odd shape, then I noticed my white gold wedding band had been re-sized with yellow gold! OKAY! NOW YOU HAVE TO BE F-ING KIDDING ME!!! I now have a two toned wedding band! NOT ACCEPTABLE. It is currently the end of December and we haven't even received a curtesy call or an update on the status of our order. I just have to deal with the fact that I won't get my ring until, "sometime in January." Yes, that was her estimate..."SOMETIME in January." At this point I have my doubts about it even arriving at all.

I've purchased some stunning pieces here, and all at a fair value. And have also come in to socialize, with no intent to purchase, and have been welcomed to just spend time there. It's lovely, and their new renovations are fantastic. To the commenter who said the staff judged them based on looks -- the first time we stopped in, we were coming from our camp. We both had on fairly grubby clothes and no jewelry at all, and were still treated kindly. I'm sorry that your experience was different.

This store and its staff is fantastic. I have been a customer of Perrywinkle's in the past but my…read morelatest visit was the best. I wanted to surprise my wife with a gift from Perrywinkle's. I went into the store and was greeted by Katilyn. I asked her for help in planning this surprise. We sat at one of the tables they have there and she helped me select the piece that I ended up buying and then she helped me plan out the surprise. I had brought in some jewelry that needed repair work so we planned the surprise to coincide with the the point in time when the repaired items were ready for pick up. It all came together as planned and my wife was so surprised, she did not expect it at all. On top of the staffs help with this, the store is amazing in its set up, look and feel as you enter it, the baby grand piano playing softly in the background, the overall ambiance of this place is something else. If you want to create a special surprise for your significant other this is the place I would recommend and from my experience the staff will help you make it extra special. Thank you Perrywinkle's.
