My mom prefers edibles but has a very low tolerance, and the guy was very helpful in making sure she not only got a good dosage, but that the ratio of THC to CBD would be good for her. I don't tend to do as well with edibles, so i got a little cart. They have the Hellavated 2 gram carts which are a bit higher quality from what i hear. We're only on our trip for about a week, and we're flying back. The guy was very funny and said, "so you know you're not gonna come close to using this." Yes i'm well aware. This isn't my first time . I will say, price is a bit more than usual (at least for carts, it's about $10 more expensive). But that's to be expected in a place like Cannon Beach. All around great, I definitely recommend this dispensary!

Easily the best dispensary between Seaside and Tillamook!…read more If you're close to Rockaway Beach while on your next trip to the north coast, DEFINITELY stop in and hook yourself up! The place is usually very well stocked, and the quality of the products is high. The prices are absolutely unbeatable for the quality, and surprisingly low considering it is a seasonal tourist town! The budtenders literally ARE the menu, which is great, because it encourages more interaction and you always learn something new because the entire staff all have a full spectrum of Cannabis knowledge!

Wow, I have been going to this place weekly for years, and after the way I was treated by Trista,…read morethey clearly do not need or want my business. I offered to buy my disabled cousin a couple of packs of pre-rolls. She doesn't have much $$, I have a medical card and I was already buying a bunch of stuff. We were out having fun and I wanted to be kind. That was when I thought Trista was going to lose her mind. She started screaming at us from across the room. Then she walked over to us and then refused to sell my cousin anything, turning her back on her. She jumped on the phone and was speaking about us so loud that, again I could her her from across the room. All this over a pack of pre-rolls. I am done. I will warn anyone that mentions this place. THC, The Herbal Choice, behind the McDonalds, will be where I go from here on out. They have an amazing selection, plenty of parking, and great deals. They make you feel like they want you business.

I was pleasantly surprised that this store displays the terpenes (by percent even) on the products…read more I never see this in stores! Most budtenders don't even know what terpenes are let alone help you find a specific product for a specific need. I hope all stores eventually display the terpenes like this store - it should be the norm not the exception. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend Purple Sunset.

I've picked up meds from this place twice, and both times I ended up getting ripped off. Their RSO…read moreand FECO syringes are actually impossible to get pushed down all the way. I tried multiple products from different companies, hoping the second time I went I'd get medicine that was usable - I did not. The first product's syringe allows you to express about half of the oil before it becomes jammed. The other one was even worse, as you can push with all your bodyweight and only get about a grain of rice amount out. I use FECO and RSO daily, and have not had this issue at any other dispensary I've gone to. Selling products that are faulty, and charging more than they're worth is such a bad business. I can't imagine the people running Purple Sunset are unaware they sell faulty RSO and FECO syringes, and feel they only do it because they're counting on their customers being tourists who can't afford to be picky, and probably won't need to return so they are far less likely to care about the quality, faulty products, or leave reviews. The moral here is: go anywhere else. This place will rip you off and sell you expensive unusable products. Scamming disabled people (huge percentage of the RSO and FECO consumers) isn't admirable.
