Non-medical people make medical decisions for their patients/prospective patients. I moved into the…read morevalley and called for an appt. They had me fill out paperwork, turn it is, and told me they wouldget my records from my previous provider, then they would make me an appt. 3 phone calls and over a month later, I was told the OFFICE MANAGER decided they would not accept me as a patient. I'm 70 but they won't do annual labs or annual physical.I would not use this clinic if I was at death's door. But I wish they at least cared enough about human beings to tell them immediately they would not be providing healthcare. And what is the OFFICE MANAGER doing telling me my case is "too complicated". Annual physical too complicated? Annual labwork too complicated? It's good to know they can't handle these simple things because at my age something more serious may need medical attention. Good riddance Gila Valley Clinic.

I am extremely disappointed in the Gila Valley Clinic in this difficult Coronavirus time and…read moreespecially disappointed in their front desk clerk Stephanie. My sister had an appointment for my 4 month old nephew yesterday 3/16/2020 at 12p for his 4 month check up. However, due to the Coronavirus, the clinic decided to space out appointments more so they called my sister and asked her to reschedule. My sister, being the understanding person that she is, happily rescheduled for 3p the following day 3/17/2020. The Gila Valley Clinic then sent her a text message to confirm this which she replied "YES" to to confirm. See attached screenshot of said text message. My sister then took my 4 month old nephew to the clinic today 3/17/2020 at 3p for her now rescheduled appointment. When she checked in, Stephanie, the front desk clerk, told my sister that her rescheduled appointment was yesterday 3/16/2020 at 12p. My sister kindly corrected her and reminded her that the original appointment was 3/16/2020 at 12 but the Gila Valley Clinic had rescheduled with her for 3/17/2020 at 3p and she had text message evidence of such change. Stephanie then told my sister that all she knows is that my sister had rescheduled her appointment yesterday and she put my sister down as a no-show for her appointment. Stephanie said she could not honor her appointment then asked my sister to re-schedule. My sister told Stephanie that she works shift work at the mine for the next 5 days she wouldn't be able to reschedule for then. Stephanie then persisted, asking my sister why she "couldn't just bring him in in the morning or something" and my sister again, tried to explain that she works shift work so after work the clinic would be closed. My sister notified Stephanie that she would call back another time after checking the availability of my nephews father to bring him to the clinic. Stephanie was rude and seemed annoyed that my sister wouldn't commit to a reschedule date at the spot. This is not the level of service I expect of a healthcare facility, especially one in a tight knit community. Employees need basic customer service skills and sensitivity training. This is a difficult time for the community and rude, insensitive service is unacceptable.
