We used the riding lessons here for our daughter. I felt the atmosphere was uncomfortable but the place appeared clean and professional. It soon became clear, however, that not all the instructors are professional (I question whether some of them are trained) and on several occasions our daughter was given a rediculously inappropriate horse. During one trek, she ws placed to the side of the lead rider, right on the edge of a deep ravine and her saddle was sliding to the side. The 'professional' rider didn't notice, our daughter had to shout to alert her. Her position wasn't changed, while she sat on the saddle, they straightened it (it moved again straightaway).
Later on that same trek, our daughter's horse and another began fighting.
Every time we arrived for a lesson, we were given a different instructor and different horse. The last straw was when our daughter's horse threw her off, only to be told that this horse was unused to working in the conditions it was in (and they put a child on it).
The horses here are poorly trained and unresponsive, to say nothing of the staff.
It's very hard to find a riding school that doesn't staff itself with children, and this one is no exception. read more
