We went with Green Kat Photography as our wedding photographer and also for a combined "love" and action shot ski session - and were beyond pleased with the entire experience. First, in regards to the wedding gig, Kat was great at communication from the beginning - which was key since we were planning a destination wedding. She was great over the phone and listened well as we described our wedding plans. Our second day in Whitefish, Kat met with us as we went over the wedding day schedule in greater detail and she made the effort to really understand us - and the wedding party- individuals, which I think is evidenced by her photography. The day of went very smoothly and she was great at having us feel comfortable and natural - and during the actual ceremony and reception she was so unobtrusive - I didn't even notice she was there! All that being said, the final products - the wedding day photographs - are beyond phenomenal. Her use of depth of field, uncanny ability to snap great candids, and talent in showcasing personality within each photograph make her a great professional to work with. Her turnaround time for the photos was also very quick and I loved that she posted a "sneak peak" album of the wedding on Facebook in less than one week after the wedding! Not only did we appreciate it - but all our friends and family did too. In regards to our "love" and action shot ski session, we had a fun afternoon at Big Mountain skiing around and doing some action and couple poses. Again, felt really natural and was a lot of fun. The turnaround from this photo session was extremely fast - in less that 48 hours after the session on the mountain she posted the whole album! Green Kat Photography was great! read more
