The results are wonderful and exactly what I have come to expect from them. This is the second time I've used A-Choice and I went back to them because of the results from using them the first time. You can bet I'll use them again. The owner (Eduart) is very knowledgeable and willing to provide direction and give advice as needed. He knows what the best primers and paints are for each application. He takes pride in his work and never cuts corners. Always an excuse, no word back, taking a class, etc. We have since hired another contractor and notified Richard that we would no longer need his service and expected our deposit as he did not deliver as indicated in contract. The day of the appointment passes, matter of fact several days pass after the appointment date and no communication was sent out to give me an estimate on the work that needed to be done. I finally reach out to them myself and ask what the outcome was and they continue to explain to me that they went there but nobody was home. Not sure where the confusion was when I explained it just about as clear as I could and then for them to not contact me 1) while on site or 2) after they left is completely unprofessional. I would not recommend using there services as they do not handle their business appropriately. I was under the impression that I was contacted when I put this request of work out because people wanted to make money, I guess not.

It was a big job, and he kindly painted the trim in our office (that was not in the original quote) for no additional charge. Before the job, we sent him a detailed email with specific questions (i.e. like drywall repair, removing fixtures/switches/curtain rods instead of painting around them) and walked through the house with Gustavo and he said everything would be perfect while he agreed to removing fixtures/switches/curtain rods. He said the job would be done upon our return, but a lot of things were missed (areas between cupboards) and the house was a mess. His team also painted around fixtures/switches/curtain rods instead of removing them like Gustavo agreed to. When asked to fix things, he gave us attitude and tried to deny he agreed to doing things during the pre-job walk-through. After suggesting we could hire someone else to finish the job, he and his team did come back. We thought we ended on good terms and decided to pay him in full with him saying repeatedly he'd come back if we found additional items that needed touch-up. We found several items that needed to be fixed and when we asked him to come back for a few more things, after many texts and calls, he finally told us, "I am done." Now, we are still dealing with missing screws on door hinges, towel racks falling off due to poor drywall repair, replacing ceiling fan blades that were gummed up with paint, paint on our kitchen cupboards peeled off from their tape, paint drips, etc. Shame on us for thinking & trusting he would "honor his words" .... twice.

Also, every switch plate was painted over instead of removed which indicated that they were not supervised and not really painters but warm bodies hired for a few days.
