As cannabis is now finding its way into the legal market I believe these brick and mortars have a responsibility to uphold a more mature and professional respect for what the cannabis plant has done for our world and and that acumen will play a role in how much further it has to come. However the message of "Lifestyle, Choice, Quality" and supporting healthy relationships with food is a progressive message. My relationship with food is like a ballet, but when I'm off the irie, it turns into a flat footed bridge troll with a bottomless gut that's just tried peri peri chicken for the first time. When it finally opened it was nice to see although it was a relatively small store they made use of the space. The place was clean and someone always has offered to help me within seconds of walking in if not with a customer. All great things. The issue came when I began looking around for my 2gm vape refill. I was given 1 flavour choice. I quickly mentioned if they got at least one other flavour it would mean the world to me. I offered a popular strain Couch lock and let them know I would be on every 4 days rather than when I'm too lazy to go to another location. This was all barely acceptable when receiving the " new store" 10% off it was 2 dollars more than every other store. I was in a sticky and needed exactly that but no time to go to any other location. Well the new store deal dropped and after months of requesting the most popular vape on the market I was given a bill for a flavour I didn't even like it was tolerable. When she passed the terminal without stating the final cost I'm glad I looked. Now they are 10.00 more expensive than a my other store. YIKES. Look the place is clean, adequately staffed to achieve mediocrity with 1 or 2 front staff max. Is that worth an extra 10.00 when gas's is at its highest levels ever, groceries increasingly larger bills each month, and the place we turn to for some form of relief or joy in our week takes another low blow to its customer by making the decision to have that escape affordable?

I had a medical emergency a couple of months ago and was warded here for close to a month. From…read moreemergency to ICU and to the regular ward, it has been quite an experience. I've never been admitted to a hospital from birth till now. I found out nurses were not trained to do the IV needle thing, they learned on the job. So my arms still have hard bumps where the needles didn't go in correctly at the emergency ward and those bumps were water retention or edema. R said my arm was so swollen he had to question the nurses what happened and they immediately removed it. The doctors said they should be gone soon but it has been several weeks now. The ICU nurses and care aides were wonderful. Cheerful and kind. The regular ward nurses were hit and miss in the care. Some were really caring and dedicated, some couldn't be bothered and treat you like it was a big hardship to ask them for help. The doctors do come round very often everyday to check on me. Same with the physio and occupational therapist. They came everyday except Sunday to do rehab with me. I had to do a lot of tests and the hospital staff are generally very patient and kind. I also had to go to another hospital for a test/procedure and a nurse escorted me there and back. My experience with the healthcare system (from calling 911 for the ambulance) to the emergency and to discharge is positive. Not the horror story I read about in the news. The ambulance came within minutes and my wait in emergency was under half an hour. I think my condition was really bad and close to dying so the triage worked. I am super thankful to the team of healthcare personnel who worked tirelessly to make sure I am ok. I opted for outpatient rehab and they are located inside the Optimization Centre. It is still a long journey to full or 90% recovery, they estimated about a year, so I guess I'll still be visiting the hospital for rehab frequently until I'm given the all clear. There is a cafeteria here with Starbucks coffee. The breakfast sandwich is terrible. The hospital food is also bad/unappetizing. The sandwich and wrap are ok. There is also an area where you can borrow or leave books.

We were promised a construction ready design, and we came in armed with a floor plan put together by an experienced Canadian designer. We wanted to take it to the "next level" with Daniel's website claims of having a licensed engineering team and advanced automation, only to find out that his "engineer" Jax was a stock photo and doesn't exist, and neither does his "planner" Jessica. I have photos as PROOF! He's not a company. He's a guy, working on his own. He's not even on the Canadian BBB, where he claims to have an A+ rating. He did not deliver on our agreed-upon requirements within the scope of work. Unprofessional is an understatement. We paid 8,000 CAD only to get back our original floor plan with few differences and completely lacking in the engineering that we needed. Daniel has a completely dismissive attitude toward the importance of measuring conditions at the canopy and root zone levels. This was both perplexing and concerning. Such metrics are fundamental to ensuring optimal plant growth and yield, a fact seemingly lost on him. This disregard for crucial aspects of the design process raises serious questions about his competency and commitment to quality work. Additionally, it became painfully clear that Daniel lacked experience in working with pressure regulators and dosatrons and maximizing space efficiency. These are foundational elements in any efficient cannabis cultivation operation. Worse, he recommended using HEATERS to keep our plants warm IN THAILAND where the average temperature is 30.5C/87F. He also promised to "pull local codes" for all aspects of the design, but he wasn't even capable of using Google. He told us to use 110V equipment, which would be fried by Thailand's 220V electrical grid. In fact, he argued with us and Google about this basic fact. Given the extensive list of shortcomings and the vast gulf between what was promised and what was delivered, I firmly believe that Daniel owes us a full refund and I would recommend anyone reading this to not use his services. His failure to meet even the most basic expectations outlined in the scope of work is indicative of a level of incompetence and deception that is wholly unacceptable. In the end, he decided to dodge our calls and not reply to our emails, rather than try to find a solution after we paid him thousands of dollars.
