He went above and beyond getting the van into top shape for my drive back to LA and we spent 30-40 minutes going over the details of the van such as how to check all the fluid levels, things to watch out for, maintenance intervals, etc. The trip went off without a hitch and it was very easy to get used to the right hand drive. Over the past year, I have had a few incidents with the van (some my fault, some due to the age of the vehicle, some due to other mechanics) and Danny has always been not only extremely responsive, but also helpful in figuring out the fix, and was able to diagnose a few tricky issues from 1000 miles away! (bad fuel injector, idle surging, black smoke). At this point, I don't trust anyone else to work on this van and plan on making the 18 hour drive next time I need any serious work done because it's worth it! If you get one of these vans, you owe it to yourself to have one of the most knowledgable experts at your fingertips when you or another mechanic have questions about how to work on them. Oh yeah, when you buy from Vanlife Northwest, you have support for the life of the van. I'm not aware of any other dealers that offer that kind of customer service.

I was 15 min late yet they were cool about it and quickly loaded my car up. No WiFi in the waiting room but a keurig and water dispenser. the guy working on my vehicle was pretty terse and impatient with me about starting my car. After the install was done. My car had been sitting for two months so pretty sure my main battery was shot and told him so. But he was convinced it was the remote battery. Then he got very dismissive that I was wrong and wanted to charge me 14 for a small 2032 remote battery ( which in hindsight is better than a new car battery). He gruffly said he had a solution and swapped out his personal battery from his remote which was nice and put it in mine. Went out to start the car. Discovered it was the main battery and came in and said both were dead but I could keep the other remote battery. Haha. Ran me a quote for a car battery and I was preparing to be raped on price. But it was fair and so I just did it. Few minutes later it's done and go to check out. Ends up he comped the tire sensor install and just charged me for the battery! Surprised, I came back and said he didn't charge me. He said, because I bought the battery, we were good. Never got a "my bad" on the weird remote battery discussion, but did me a solid on the car battery and TPMS install. Cool shop in the end and would recommend.
