The paper is usually not delivered on time. It only comes four days a week. They once had great local photography but now it is terrible. When the paper is late or not delivered they say there will be no charge, but that has never happened. We are always charged the full amount. I understand the problems brought on by Covid, but this is just plain poor management. They need to get new people in both the production and delivery areas. read more

The Greeley Tribune is a 3rd rate local newspaper with an amazing lack of content and clear conservative bias on most issues. For the $40 plus monthly subscription price you don't even get a daily paper; they only publish Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday editions. Only the Sunday edition contains anything but the same old boring local news and very little pertinent national and world news. They typically glorify the usual sports like football, baseball, basketball and wrestling but ignore important local newsworthy academics. Their circulation department is difficult to access and delivery is spotty at best. Bad combination when the paper isn't worth getting in the first place. After 30 years of watching what used to be a pretty decent newspaper decline to it's present sorry state, we've had enough and have cancelled our subscription. read more

Yet another mid size town newspaper that panders towards a certain type of reader than the general populous. What I mean by that is that the bias(as I mentioned in another paper) often overflows from the opinion page onto articles which should be more objective and not trying to appease a type of reader. We know who holds the purse strings therefore the paper has to be reported in this fashion apparently. read more

I subscribe to the four day a week newspaper, although; I wonder why. I got my paper yesterday, Wednesday; it was stuffed with sales circulars. Today, Thanksgiving, I got no paper. Perhaps those circulars were meant for today instead of yesterday and the paper saw no need to deliver just the "news" paper. I'm just conjecturing.... The paper advertised everyone with any kind of a subscription would receive a Thanksgiving day paper to, no doubt promote business and encourage everyone to hit the ground running, all the while gorging the credit cards, HA!, ha!, I'm just sayin' .......Maybe I just should count no newspaper as a blessing in disguise. I paid the Greeley Tribune for a business directory ad last Spring. The directory was never published. We have contacted this company over 10 times since then to get our refund.They say they will do so but never have. They are lying. I have called them, emailed them and stopped by their local HQ in person. It's not about my money anymore, it's about them refusing to make right their theft . I call for a boycott of this dishonest company and will never spend a penny with them again. I hope this review costs them way more than they owe me.... read more

The Greeley Tribune website scamming me into giving them my email address without any benefit and they hung up on me when I called to complain. During the second call the agent kept talking over me. He said he would forward my complaint about the deceptive nature of the website, but I doubt he will follow through. read more

I have two subscriptions to the paper - one for my elderly mother and a personal subscription. Last year my rate was raised, but my mother's was not. I called and was able to have my subscription rate remain the same. October 1st I paid my mother's subscription which was the same price, but my notice on October 11th had my rate higher than hers. I called and was told they charge different rates. I asked how they could charge different rates for the same product and service and they just said they could. My mom and I were paying $16.02 per month. She is still paying this amount. I see in other comments costs as high as $40 a month. This is unacceptable. I cancelled my subscription event though they were willing to take me to as low as $17.77 per month. If you get the paper, check your rate! Don't let them overcharge you for a poor product. The newspaper has always been a staple in my home and a way to stay connected in my community. The owners of the paper need to hear they cannot treat consumers this way. Please let the paper know you want consistent and fair pricing. read more

First off if I knew anything I would own the Tribune, but here goes.. I have received The Trib more years than I care to remember, and I have known Randy Bangert since probably the 90s, he taught me the newspaper business from their point of view... One must bear in mind the Tribune is a business like any other business there to make money..The news media do not have anymore rights than any other law abiding citizen on the street...No more constitutional rights, everyone is guaranteed freedom of the press, Period... Essentially they do not have to print anything they do not want to, that is up to the respective editor...I have not found the editors interested in many letters to the editor I write, not much I am able to do about that. But like the Old Steer, all one can do is try... i think The Trib tries to walk the middle of the road...I take it because how else does one know what is going on around town, good or bad... One thing I definitely would change is the Half Page they have in some of the editions.. Apparently some big wig likes it usually because their hometown paper used it, baloney.... That is the last aggravation I need to start the day... I immediately see what it is about, then if it is a business I make a mental note not to do business with these people if at all possible.. Business people note this is more of a irritant than a sales asset... I would add more letters to the editor, eliminate some of the columns like Littwin and Mike Peters, wasted space for both..Peters try at humor is sophomoric at best..
