Absolutely delicious! The staff were lovely and the food was just great. There were 4 of us and…read morebetween us we had the dolmades, the grilled eggplant with minced beef and bechamel and cheese, the fried battered zucchini, the meatballs, and the grilled octopus, and lamb and chicken and vegetable souvlaki meals, so that was 5 entrees plus 3 mains along with 2 glasses of wine and a soda for less than $160 which isn't too bad at all for a lovely dinner. Our only regret was that we were all so full we couldn't fit in any desserts. We'll definitely be back! By the way, My Greek Cuzina is the new name for Little Greek Cuzina.

Very disappointing, to say the least…read more This place was super busy when we arrived for dinner, and I thought that would be a good thing, but I was mistaken. We were seated a small table in a corner and squished in against the table next to us. Barely had room to get to my seat, and it was awkward trying to squeeze past the tables of the diners on either side of us. Our waitress gave us menus after she took us to our table, but took forever to come back and take our order. Yes, the place was busy, but waiting 15 minutes to order was not cool. At one point I was wondering if it was table service or counter service. We ordered a platter to share and some souvlaki skewers, specifically asking the waitress if the food could all come out at the same time, and she assured us that it would, but that it could take up to 40 minutes for the food to arrive and we said that was fine. Needless to say, about 20 minutes later the souvlaki skewers (delivered by a different waitress), and when I told her it was supposed to be served with the platter, she seemed thoroughly confused. She took the skewers back to the kitchen, and seemed to chat with someone in the kitchen. Then 5 minutes later, she came back out with our platter and skewers (the same ones she had taken back earlier), and again seemed very confused about the skewers. She put the plate down and announced they were checken and pork souvlaki skewers. I queried her on this as we had ordered chicken and lamb, and she was adamant they were chicken and pork. Another visit back to the kitchen and she came back and announced they were chicken and lamb souvlaki skewers. Definitely not a good sign when your waitstaff have no idea what they're serving. The food was disappointing. I've been to other Greek restaurants before and in comparison, the quality was lacking. For a platter for 2, the quantities were small. 3 small pieces of potato for 2 people? 1 small bowl of salad to share. The only thing in abundance was the pita bread and the moussaka. We chose to have the eggplant dip with our platter, and the raw garlic in the dip was so so overpowering. The souvlaki skewers were underwhelming - the lamb was dry and overcooked, while the chicken was just ok. All round, it wasn't a great experience. I'd like to say I'd give them another chance, but I won't be. My sister ended up getting sick after our dinner, and that was a deal breaker for us.

Discovered this place a few months ago and went again yesterday…read more They have an excellent homemade fig loaf served with maple butter!! Very decadent and can even be shared if you aren't feeling too greedy. The coffee is yummy and service is excellent. The moment you signal that you're ready to order (sailing a little flag on the boat which decorates the table) the waiters swoop in. It's nice because you aren't heckled or bothered like in the USA. When you are ready to order, the mast goes up and the service comes running. The restaurant is pretty loud because of the concrete floors, so I try to avoid it on the weekends or grab a table outside if at all possible. The gyros are delicious, I recommend the chicken and the vegetarian. Cheap, generous and tasty- Mediterranean done well.

We visited early one weekday morning for a lazy breakfast at the new kid on the block. I selected from a large menu which unfortunately didn't identify which dishes were gluten free. The staff were very happy to help however, and advised all of the breads could be substituted with gluten free versions so I could satisfy my toasted sandwich cravings. I opted for the Truffled Cheese Toastie with gruyere cheese and truffled salsa. It was presented on a wooden board with fresh greens and red onion to help liven it up. My beverage was aptly named "Sunshine" and contained a mixture of pineapple, orange, apple and strawberry. All up I paid $22.50 for my breakfast and was happy with the serving size and quality of everything. It was fairly quiet at that point with most of Bulimba at work, but I can imagine it getting busier on weekends or Friday afternoons for after-work drinks and food. My toastie was golden and crunchy and the truffle filling was gorgeously decadent when paired with the copious amounts of gruyere. Surprisingly I ate all of the greens and found they helped avoid getting overwhelmed with the big flavours on my plate. The juice was fresh with just the right balance between the fruits and was definitely filling for what I paid. Service was friendly and accommodating and the food arrived quickly. As we were paying our bill I noticed an array of baked goods in the front cabinet with some interesting looking gluten-free options. I think I can see at least one other visit to Ambrosia & Co in my future..
