We got to the theater at 4:15pm on a Sunday with 14 people to watch the 5pm showing of Moana2 with…read more4 excited little girls, the man helping us buy the tickets told us we could have row G and the 2 end seat on the end of each row in front and behind, We had one baby in a stroller, 15 mins into the movie some lady comes and yells that we are in her seats and demands us to movie, all the kids had their popcorn and drinks and settled in, apparently they bought tickets online as we were buying ours at the theater, the manager comes in and makes us move even though we had our tickets in hand also. The manager wouldn't listen to us and didn't offer other seating. I said I wanted to talk to the man who sold us our tickets and started to walk off, she reached at me as she was going to grab me and said if you do that I will make you leave, you can only talk to me about this. I looked at her and asked, I can't talk to the man who sold us the tickets? He knows we bought the entire row. She then made all 14 of us leave. They had 2 of the little girls crying. So very disappointing....

The tickets here are reasonably…read morepriced, the popcorn and soda are cheap, and the seats are very comfy, making this a must stop place if you're spending a little more time than simply driving through. Yes, there is only one screen, however, for me it just adds to the charm! I wish there were more independent movie theaters in small towns. This one is located next to an Italian restaurant and burrito shop and is walking distance to a couple of thrift stores, if you want to make it a browsing kind of afternoon. And what I'm loving about Kansas, there's free parking right out front!

I like the fact that we could get free soda and icee refills during our time there. The large size in the icee was good especially since I paid what I paid...it needed to be good. I'm not ordering the pizza again. So not worth the price and it was one of the cheaper prices but still...not ordering again. I tried to find tables to put our food on but apparently this theater did not come with them or I was doing something wrong. The chairs were comfy but I thought it being an IMAX for the Little Mermaid that the chairs would at least recline. Too bad all theaters cant be the same since the movies are technically new still while in theaters. Although the person that brought our food was really nice and asked if we needed anything else....you should have brought napkins. I should not have to say anything. These should come with every meal whether its just popcorn, soda and especially with burgers and pizza. I am wondering if there is a way that since people pay what they do for the movies...so we don't have to leave the theater to fill up our cups if we could somehow call from the seat...push a button and someone will come and fill our drinks and take care of us...that would be awesome...but then if this were put into place it would cost even more. We've gone to many theaters over the years and watch many first run movies and this is by far the worst experience I've ever had at a movie theater and then when I went to complain, they told me I needed to get to the back of the line and wait for however long it would take for them to ring in their people before I could speak with a manager. The snack bar is well staffed by local teenagers and stocked with all the movie theater goodies. We often bring a takeout dinner and have a picnic while we wait in line to get in (get there early for a good spot!), then get dessert of popcorn and candy. The drive from Salina is about 40 minutes, and even though it's a two lane highway we always feel like we're just part of the late night parade of people coming home from the drive-in. We love that this is a part of our summer, and we're so grateful for some GenX nostalgia in the middle of Kansas!

They hire a lot of high school students, but they are always respectful. This theater is about maximizing comfort and being affordable to any age group. I believe they only have 1 theater that has digital projection that can serve 3D movies. The only few cons is the walls aren't as thick as they should be to block out the sound from the other theater. Also that it has a musty smell to it. This theater is good for any surrounding cities that don't want to drive too far to watch the latest movies. I recommend it.
