She has a calm confident and caring approach that the dogs really respond to in a positive way. I have taken my dog to other groomers that end up telling me that they were unable to trim his nails because "he wouldn't let" them. Shirley had no trouble at all. My dog's nails look great, they are smooth with no jagged edges and he seems more comfortable now. After his grooming, his coat is shiny and silky smooth and he is no longer shedding massive amounts of fur when we pet him. He has never looked and felt this good after being at other groomers. Tail's End Dog Grooming is the only grooming place that my dog will be going to from now on!

The staff was very kind and considerate of all things-patient care, cost of testing, and medications. They didn't do unnecessary tests and even gave the price before doing it. I am even thinking of transferring care of all my pets to them due to this and another encounter we've hand with them that was very happy!

I recently found out that my newest addition to the family, Mr. James De CoCo has heartworm. He did…read morenot have heartworm when we picked him up in Feb 22, 2022. I took him and some of my other dogs to get heartworm checked (because they will not give you Revolution for ticks/Mosqitoes with out one) on March 14th. All my other dogs I brought got a heartworm test. Jimmy De CoCo did not. I was under the impression ALL my dogs were getting heartworm tested. Mind you. For over 13 years, NONE of my dogs were infected with heartworm. NONE OF THEM!! Until I brought my newest rescue, James De CoCo. The cutest, littlest guy you would fall in love with. Why you ask? Sunrise Veterinary Services DENIED our purchases with their "store" over 4 times. This had been a recurrent problem of being denied medications to keep my dogs and cat safe. Over and over and over again, we were denied these medications to keep my pets safe. It was never on our end. It was Sunrise Veterinary Services. This is where the problem was. We even have the denials via email. Once again, they dropped the ball to as to the welfare of our loved family members. This time, it was very serious. Prior to my dogs appointments, I sent an email to Sunrise Veterinary Services stating "this is to keep them safe from ticks and heartworm".. this was my full reason for bringing them in. And still, the little guy got heartworm because he was denied life saving heartworm medications by Sunrise Veterinary Services. When we left Sunrise Veterinary Services for good (thank God), we went to Switzers. Now, we have had to re-due ALL tests and examinations because this is how Switzers does business AND it is how we found out Jimmy De CoCo had heartworm. THEY ACTUALLY TESTED HIM FOR IT... Sunrise Veterinary Services had not!! Had we not gone to Switzers, the heartworm would have continued growing, thus becoming more of a danger to the little guy. This would have led to a long and painful death.

Losko gels really well with Dr. Wolfgang. The comfort level between Dr. Wolfgang and Losko puts my husband at ease not to mention my husband is pleased with her expertise. Those two factors mentioned above when an emergency arises it calms us both knowing Dr. Wolfgang is only 20 min's away. *Note IMHO it's not just about knowledge ... the doctors interaction with our pet is very important! We have seen very stern vet's that are very cold and militant which has not been a good combination for our 113 pound shepherd. Thank you Dr. Wolfgang and staff :)
