To eat we split the brisket nachos and they were fantastic, lots of cheese and meat and the tomatoes were a great bit of acidity to balance out the richness. I was so hungry I just started shoveling food in my face without taking a pic. It was the first time in a long time we've been waited on at The Deck and while the togo food to eat at Below Deck is good - having it come out hot is just different than hoofing it down to the sand. The first thing we noticed was another bar upstairs without a line at all definitely kicked ourselves for not looking around more. Lots of signs all pointing towards finding the hostess for seating instead of sitting yourself. So back to the hostess stand to be told either put your name in for a table or you can sit in any red chair that is available. Food is takeout only but you can order at the window or online for pickup. We had the chips and cheese dip and also the chicken fingers. The hot honey wasn't great, but the ranch was good and runny. The cheese dip was okay, nothing great. Drinks are what you would expect for a beach feel...not strong by any means. I'd definitely save the extra money for the fancy drink and get a canned beverage for the best reliable alcohol content. I know I kinda gave this place the business but a still good overall rating. The vibe, sand, band and overall feeling is what makes this place great! It supersedes the things that could be better. The place is a vibe and vibes bring people together. I'd still go back and knowing what I know now, just do it better.
