Absolutely love going here! Been a couple of times and have loved it. Can be a long wait if you go at the wrong time, but if you pay and wait all the arcade games are free! That's one of the main reasons I love it- you arent just sitting around waiting to play mini-golf. 18 fun holes, great for kids too.

Trying to find this place was a little difficult as it's pushed back into the lot behind some strip mall. Arrived around 4:45 on a Saturday and there was a 45 minute wait. They gave us a buzzer for our party and let us know their arcade was free play except some of the prize games. We walked around and explored some classic arcade games and made the 45 minute wait pass quickly. They had sanitizer around which I appreciated and an area to hang your winter jackets. Bathrooms are in the golf area. For one person the price was $12.50 for a round of glow golf and the arcade. Some of the games weren't working properly or seemed a bit aged. Once it was our turn to golf we entered the glow area and I was impressed with the wall artwork. Each of the holes were fairly simple and close together. All the holes are separated by short wooden barriers all painted a neon color. Definitely a fun activity for groups of friends or even a date.

This place was really fun. Great mini golf, fun arcade games. My boyfriend and I really loved playing air hockey and racing each other after our 18 holes.

Beautiful black light murals with animal statues!!

This was my second time visiting and it was great! Guy behind the desk was very sweet and super helpful. When we got there we had the whole 18s to ourselves - it wasn't busy at all! The black light murals were beautiful! It was almost like a beach/forest black light party!! My boyfriend might give it 4 stars but only because he lost to me! :) We will be back in the future to try arcade games!

We went to glow golf for a 9-year olds's birthday. Super clean and reasonably priced. We did the $15 per person package for unlimited golf, free arcade games, and soda. The 9-year olds were entertained for 3 hours! Definitely a big win!

Had really nice art to look at. Really realistic sculptures but I will warn about the Bigfoot at the end. Very scary. Loved this art museum.

Hear ye, hear ye! Gather 'round, good people of Grand Rapids!**…read more 'Tis I, your humble town crier, with news most dire from AJ's Family Fun Center, where the miniature golf course doth lie in a state of disrepair. On a fair Saturday afternoon, I did venture forth with my daughter and her beau, seeking merriment and sport upon the greens. Alas, what we found was naught but frustration and woe. The tee boxes, uneven and askew, did cause many a ball to veer off course from the very start. Though the greens were mostly fair, the holes themselves were in a sorry state, with broken or missing flags on all but two of the eighteen. The signs that should guide us were shattered, and the spinners that add challenge were but broken relics of their former selves. Twice did our balls become ensnared within the obstacles, and on the sixteenth hole, a dozen players before us did halt their play, for their balls were trapped and would not release until I, with great effort, did free them from their prison. Our complaints to the attendant were met with indifference, as though she were not paid enough to care for our plight. The arcade, a cacophony of noise, did drive us away from further games, and the cost of nine dollars for such a course seemed a grievous overcharge. Verily, I say unto thee, I shall not return to this place of discontent unless I hear tell of new management or grand improvements. Thus ends my tale of woe. Take heed, dear townsfolk, and spend thy coin wisely.

The staffs rode some of the kids I had on the go karts. The manager gave us top tier service. We had dipping dots, drinks, pizza, and ice-cream and a good time!!! I would definitely be coming back. All the workers were super friendly and kept a smile on their face. My son got spoiled by all the members there. Thank you all so much!!!!

Came for the most amazing performance by comedian, Alok!…read more The Pyramid Scheme is a fun retro take on a dive bar known for their great shows, pinball machines and (somewhat) reasonably priced drinks. The staff may seem rough on the outer edges, but they are all actually teddy bears once you get to know them. Usually shows are standing room only, which is a drag if you are old like me and opt not to wear orthotics. Luckily, the 9 pm encore show was seated. My old bones appreciated this. Now look below as I'm fangirling in the attached photos! I absolutely adore Alok and their courage to humorously challenge the gender binary and systematically poke holes in the patriarchal system that comprises The USA.

i have been attending the Pyramid Scheme for years now. I absolutely love all of the staff and they…read morereally become like friends and family after constantly seeing them when attending shows. The lineups are often pretty diverse, now offering more local music and the addition of more free events to bring together the community. They've added vintage nights, trivia, and free pinball days which I think is a very important and necessary community good. The venue has a front half with a bar, pinball cabinets, and even some outdoor seating. The back hosts the concert venue with interior bar, seating, and elevated stage. I'm allergic to alcohol so I can't speak to the drinks nor the prices but they have free water jugs readily available which is a lifesaver during shows and is just such a small, nice feature to have access to. I definitely would recommend coming here for a concert, finding some new local music, or establishing a new hang out for your friends.
