She is professional, knowledgeable about hair care, clean, reasonably priced and FAST! I have a head full of hair and my wash and set appointments usually range from 1 hour to 1 hour and 10 minutes. I am not caught up in fancy salons and posh ammenities like wine and fruit that usually accompany and 2-3 hour salon visit. Give me quick, fast and healthy hair any day. If you are looking for a fancy hair salon with a receptionist, chandeliers and an upscale atmosphere, this is not your place. But if you want a wonderful stylist that knows about hair care, is on time and professional this is the place for you. I look forward to coming to Tee for many years to come. However, in December 2023, she colored my hair and it was AWFUL. She said in a text message to me that she takes responsibility, but when I started to discuss the problem she became very defensive. I thought taking responsibility meant making amends. This did not mean that to her. When I went back for service, she charged me the full amount. I paid it because I did not want to lose my temper and create a scene. I texted her a couple of days later to discuss my concerns and she said in the text she took full responsibility. Today, I texted pictures of my hair and sent her a picture of my hair before this treatment. I told her in the text the least she could do was refund my money for the color since she agreed it was a mess. She said she credited my credit card and would send the money for the color service when I got back to her with the receipt. I had appointments scheduled for the rest of the month so that I could get it treated to restore the health of my hair. She canceled all appointments, Unfortunately, I will have to sue her. You never know someone's true character until there is a problem. I am saddened the relationship ended this way. I did not see this coming.

My stylist told me what to get! Conversation was very pleasant & fun (we watched Family Feud!). The shop was clean, mobile pymt accepted & my stylist was very nice & understanding! I'm "tender-headed," & it wasn't an issue. If something felt tight, my stylist fixed it & would ask if it was better & would continue to work on the area until I said it was! I've gone to Nicole at the JC Penny in McDonough for the third time now. I wanted to make sure I…read morehad multiple experiences with her before writing my review. First off, just know my hair was DAMAGED and shedding prior to going to Nicole. I also experienced major heat damage from going to a few different Dominican salon right here in McDonough. My first visit included a rinse to cover my pesky gray hair, highlights, deep condition and silk press and a major cut. I had gone to previous salons before and my gray hairs were still there after the rinse. I was lowkey annoyed at how much hair was on the floor, but it was damaged and needed to be cut. It was not cheap, but you get what you pay for, and Nicole is a licensed hair stylist. The next time, i went it was a wash, conditioning treatment and rod set. The following week i washed my own hair for the first time and was shocked at how my hair was full of curls and not shedding as it had been doing previously. I didn't have any long straight pieces and my hair once again was nice and thick. Today was a rinse, wash, conditioning treatment and flat iron no issues here. My hair looks amazing and most importantly healthy. If you are looking for a license colorist and someone who is going to treat your hair and get it healthy, and allow your hair to grow, go ahead and give Nicole a try. Tell her TammiJ sent you.

I let stylist DEBORAH [aka de-bo-rah as she pronounces it] put a perm on my hair.. she really DESTROYED my hair.. I noticed she was unpleasant in the beginning, I didn't think she would carry that attitude towards my hair...she proceeds to do my hair, I asked about the rinse colors they carried, she became more distasteful, as if I was bothering her... at this point she had the chemical on my hair and needless to say I was scared to say anything further for fear of what she could and did do to my hair...no client should feel like that... after looking at my hair I knew I would never return there... if she didn't want to do my hair or if she didn't want to be there, then she should not be doing peoples hair under no circumstances.. she is a horrible lady with a horrible attitude...
