My husband went in to get a hair cut today at 8:06. This elder lady when we walk in give us dirty stare and say we close at 8:30. She didn't want to give us service. So a young lady from the back came out with a smile check him in and cut his hair we left at 8:24. An elder man came in at 8:20 and the elder lady act really thirsty when he walk in check him in and sit him down. The young lady was 100% super nice. If it wasn't for the young lady I would have given this place a negative 100. I have never felt so disrespect and she was unprofessional with attitude like that she would run this place down. I'm only give this place a 5 star because the young lady was professional and respectful and she cut his hair. read more

Unfortunately I have to give 1 star to be able to post this. Do not go here. Upon check in was telling the stylist what services I would like done before I could finish my sentence she interrupted me told me she couldn't wash my hair because it was to long because she had a bad shoulder then walked away. I didn't even know if I was checked in. So I waited for another stylist to become available. I was about half way done and the same stylist who dismissed me began talking shit about me to the other customers because they were busy and she was getting off. This behavior is unacceptable. I am a paying customer who just wanted a wash, cut and blow dry I never should have been dismissed or talked about while I was in the chair. Highly unprofessional. NEVER AGAIN!!!! read more

Went on a weekend to get my sons haircut with Rosa. Worse experience ever! First off, instead of handing over the receipt, she threw the receipt and walked away with an attitude. I've been going to Great Clips salons for almost 7 years after getting a horrendous haircut by SuperCuts and then having the manager argue with me about it...never going back. I get consistently good (sometimes great) haircuts at the Great Clips on Losee Road just down the street from my home. I always check in online, one of the stylists always greets me when I enter and I've never waited more than about ten minutes. The shop is always clean, even when swamped with clients, and each of the stylists in this shop have cut my hair. I honestly can't complain about any of them because they're all polite and professional, and I've not received any "bad" haircuts from this shop. Keep up the GREAT work ladies! read more

Review is for Great Clips location on Losee Rd. in N. Las Vegas. They were fairly busy, we had checked in online but we were late, yet they got to my husband right away. Stylist was Raquel, & she was professional, friendly & 100% attentive to details- especially my husband's requests on how he preferred his hair to be cut. Raquel is the only stylist in our 12 yrs of marriage to get it just right- & I do mean PERFECTION! Needless to say, we are thrilled & this will be our go-to salon from now on. I asked for a middy cut.. a relatively easy cut and I showed a picture of the style on a person AND a diagram to explain it. The woman cutting my hair completely ignored all directions, and left me with a straight bob with layers... NOT WHAT I WANTED!! Brought my son here after a different shop butchered my son's hair months ago, it had finally grown back enough it could be fixed. We were a walk in, and the place was empty. We were greeted and helped immediately. Melissa was our stylist, and she was great. Friendly and sweet. She kept conversation going with my son who is 6, and she handled him well. We've been here a handful of times to get a haircut for our little guy. The staff have always been nice and patient with him, even when he's been a bit wiggly. He's 3 now and we've been coming since he was probably about 2.5 years old. When they're that young they'll allow you to hold the kid in your lap while they cover each of you in a smock. He's gotten used to the buzzing of the clippers though, so he sits on his own now. Our little one loves it here because he gets a sucker if he's good (always) and doesn't squirm too much. The ladies have always been attentive and sweet towards him so he feels like it's a treat to get his hair cut. Doesn't hurt that there's a great little ice cream shop a few doors down too. Don't forget to skip the line and check in ahead of time on their website. We typically check in right as we're leaving and generally don't wait but a couple minutes to get called back. Super handy when they get busy on the weekends. read more

2 stars for attempting it and allowing me to try and fix it myself with the straightener. Folks, I simply went in for a blow dry and straighten and was there from 2-3:30pm. Now I'm aware I have a lot of hair ( as she so nicely let me know a couple times) but the fact that I was forced to go and buy a straighter( from out of town and left my hot tools behind) afterwards to fix it is even more upsetting. Oh and the reason she gave me for my hair not straightening at the top was "the curls were just too close to the scalp and some people can't handle the heat of a flat iron)...Can't imagine what a haircut is like. read more

For the past 16 years, I've been going to Chinatown to get my hair done/cut to give my Asian peeps my business. Even if I've lived in different states, I made it a point to only go to one place. I woke up one day wanting to donate my hair which salons in Chinatown don't deal with. I only paid like $10+tip which was really shockingly cheap! I donated my hair to Locks of Love.
