Unfortunately they were all busy and weren't able to take a walk in so told me to come in later. My appointment started a little late since the person before were running over. I've been to many salons and my husband has been to many barbers and this isn't unusual so it didnt bug me. Oh also, she skipped her lunch to take me in! I had a dinner reservation that night with friends so I couldn't come back later and she said her lunch could wait. THE QUALITY. Parts are CLEAN, doesnt use a ridiculous amount of gel but these braids are not going ANYWHERE. Zetta literally saved my birthday. I was gonna cancel my party because my hair was a mess after going elsewhere. I will be coming by again when I have my Mexico trip

They had me sitting under the dryer for longer trying to rush and do someone else's hair too. I was under there so long that the timer went off while I sat with a wet rag around my neck and dripping wet hair. The stylist even had the nerve to ask me if I could finish the service because of my own PTSD from being burned in a chair before (I was flinching from the heat). She inconvenienced my ENTIRE DAY on my birthday and my hair was burnt to all hell too, smelling bad even AFTER I washed it. Not one "thank you" or apologize for the delays. Never again, and WAY OVERPRICED

I won't be going else where. Total opposite of my encounter last night. Denver was my stylist and she was so pleasant. She was happier to take her time, we talked about the ideas I had, the pictures I brought and she asked thought provoking questions that allowed us to arrive at a style that not only suited my personality but the time I have for upkeep as well. I LOVE MY CUT! Every bit as much if it had been from a high priced, "reputable stylist". Denver is my girl! Five stars isn't enough for her!

It is in old town Norwalk which really wouldn't be busy with walk in traffic, so I can see the advantage to closing up shop if you don't have appointments already set. The ladies were done in just about an hour. I was pretty impressed that it was a lot shorter then I imagined it would be. Quick Review: Tim is obsessive about a great haircut and it makes such a difference. He is not just…read morecutting hair in any old hairstyle, he is cutting YOUR hair to suit YOUR face. Amazing. Long Review: My hair was crazy curly all my life and with every child (I'm due with number 4), the curls kept getting less and less but I kept getting the same haircut over and over. Flash forward to my haircut with Tim. At my wits end, and having already chopped some hair off myself in a "throw my hands up" and "I'm done" attitude, Tim did an amazing job. He looked at my throw back photos with the curls, checked out my hair now, and then went in with a plan to frame my face and make my hair have some bounce and volume back again. After he washed and cut my hair, he blew it dry. Then, HE CUT MY HAIR AGAIN DRY TO MAKE SURE IT WAS PERFECT. I have never had a hairstylist do this before and what a huge difference his attention to detail made. Bonus: I've got a lot more hair confidence. ‍

I come here most of the time because it overall is a good environment...with my experience I think maybe it just an off day. the first time I got my toes done a few months ago, a lady made me bleed cause she said the piece of the nail had to come out. I dont think she "doctored" that correctly because it came back and grew back under my skin and made me uncomfortable. I also didn't end up liking my French tip I got on my toes. blood got into the white and she didn't notice. I think she just wanted to be done with me. It took 4 months for my toe to stop being uncomfortable and it was something I had to fix myself. I will go back to try again because I like the environment ! just with a different worker (: 8/10 times you will leave there satisfied

It was a day when kids had off from school so there were a lot of moms and daughters shopping. It kind of surprised me because the few categories of items I was looking for seemed to be higher end. Not sure what I will use my gift card on, but will opt for shopping on the website or likely regift it. The store just did make me excited about buying anything.
