I had been to so many different stylist in indianapolis searching for more information on how to maintain a curly haired look, and was always disappointed with the same answer that there is nothing "special" to having curly hair. Turns out I was right when I visited Danielle she introduced me to Deva Curl, and took the time to teach me how to properly wash curls while not over doing it with products. She guided me toward a book all about the different curl types that walks you through how to wash, condition and style teaching me so many new things I didn't know I was doing wrong! This experience is what I had been looking for and I left her salon feeling like I had received more knowledge about hair care with a manageable haircut, which is how a salon experience should be. She took her time to make sure she cut my hair according to the fall of my curls, and I could not be happier with the care she put into my new look!

Being from the NYC area I still have sticker shock at the cost for a pedi or mani in 'these here parts' (almost double) but she definitely gives your money's worth - along with just the right amount of friendly banter if you feel like chatting. I get my hair cut here too. My first regular stylist departed for other opportunities but now I have Ashley and very happy with her. She takes time to understand how you want it and you will leave fresh and happy. You definitely want to make appointments well in advance. And they do not overbook so no waiting around when your appointment time comes. Shop is nice and clean, not ultra modern. Always good music playing. Nice place.

I've never been huge on hair change/color/maintenance lol but had made some poor choices in 2018 and my ends were *fried*. My poor choices took me from silky smooth hair to a mess of frizz. Chloe helped me get my hair to do a complete 180° in the year before Covid and it was in good shape. A few months ago I finally went back for some maintenance and my hair went from pretty great to over the top *amazing* with some of the products she encouraged me to try. The salon gives out big samples and that totally helped me get a solid idea of the products and fall in love with them over time vs a one time use. I honestly can't stop touching my hair which probably annoys everyone around me but it's just so sooooffft lol. I had a brief wait. As for the services I received? The color I ended up with just looked like I did an all over color and accidentally missed spots, rather than the multicolor look I was going for. It looked nothing even remotely like the inspo photos. And then she proceeded to butcher my hair when I had basically wanted some shaping/cleaning up and then styled it like I was 70. And there was dye all over my hairline and on my ears when I left. I was in such shock I couldn't even say anything. I paid and left. Immediately, I went somewhere else and they fixed the cut as best as they could and cleaned the dye off. They wanted to know who did my hair but I couldn't bring myself to tell them. But, why am I trying to protect someone who did a bad job? I've had better cuts from Great Clips. And I can do a better job my self with coloring my hair. Do I recommend this place? Upon arrival in store, I was greeted promptly and given a bottle of water by the owner. Afterwards, my stylist, Kiarra, took great care of me and did a wonderful job on the highlights in my hair! The color was matched perfectly to the reference pic I showed her. She was super gentle and detailed throughout all stages. Also, since I'm a perfectionist she helped me with some touch ups and was very thorough in helping catch any places that needed additional fixing. I love that she was super empathetic and understanding about getting every single hair detail just right until I was satisfied (I've definitely noticed other stylists in the past seeming annoyed about fixing up and redoing an area)! They were also able to accommodate me after work same day and gave me some recommendations on products and extensions! Really loved coming here!
