I got a haircut today, and since earlier today I reviewed the place that cut my hair while I was in France, I figured that it would only be fair to do the same for the people who regularly cut my hair here in the States. And since it would earn me another "first to review" accolade, it is all the more sweet to review this hair cutting establishment.
I have never had any complaints about my visits to Great Clips, and it's proximity to my home as well as the consistency of quality of their stylists has led me to want to want to return time and time again. I like how they have programmed not only my name into their computer, but also how I like to have my hair cut, which makes things much more easy, and expedites the process in an enjoyable fashion. Sometimes I forget the clipper number that I always get for the sides of my head, but their handy computer makes sure that they will always remember how I like my hair. They always follow my specifications, and my hair is almost always exactly how I want it. There have been times when they have cut it a bit too short, but it wasn't so bad that it stopped me from coming in or anything.
The ladies who work here are super friendly, and this occasion was no different from the rest. An African American lady cut my hair today that I hadn't yet seen before, and she did a marvelous job, and was very personable. I like being able to carry on an enjoyable conversation with the ladies that cut my hair if I'm feeling social enough, so I always appreciate it when they can carry on a decent conversation and have a fun personality. The ladies at my local Great Clips have never before failed me in this regard.
I also love how cheap this place is at $15 a cut, and I am usually in and out of there in a half an hour at the most. There is very rarely a wait, and today I walked in and was sitting in a chair within 3 minutes, and was walking out after about 20. I don't think there's a better place for the money, and I will be patronizing Great Clips as long as there is one close enough to where I'm living. read more
