Again, I drove 20 minutes after checking in online and specifying who I wanted. She wasn't there and no one bothered to call me. This has happened more often than NOT. I always try to call beforehand, but the call wouldn't go through and I came anyway. I've called more than once to confirm that my stylist was there, was told she WASN'T, only to find out that she WAS when we talked later. I don't mumble. If I had to guess, I'd say workers are trying to keep business from a popular stylist, and they hope that if I drive 20 minutes for a stylist that's not working, that I'll stay and let one of them cut my hair anyway. 0 Stars - Extremely Disappointed I recently moved to the area and decided to give this location a try. Unfortunately, after three visits, my experience never improved. During my first visit, the staff treated my son as though there was something wrong with him. The looks we received were uncomfortable, and the customer service was poor. We were told that the details of his haircut would be saved on his account for future visits. On our second visit, we experienced the same type of treatment. The staff, particularly some of the older women, made us feel unwelcome and judged. My third and final visit was the worst. One employee initially acted as though she would be assisting my son, then told us someone would be with us shortly. Instead, she clocked out and left. The stylist who eventually cut my son's hair gave him an extremely short haircut that was nothing like what we expected. When I expressed my concern, I was told the haircut was based on the instructions saved in his file. There is no way the notes on his account instructed anyone to cut his hair that short. After giving this location three chances, I will not be returning. The lack of professionalism, poor customer service, and overall treatment we received were unacceptable. I can't speak to anyone's intentions, but our experience suggested a level of bias that was impossible to ignore. read more

Great clips is where you work when no one else will hire you. I received the worst haircut I have ever had. Lynsey saw the picture and I told her what I wanted and she butchered my hair. She seemed unconcerned that I was unhappy with the cut. If you go to Great Clips and she is going to cut your hair, run for the exit. read more

This was the worst hair cut I've ever received. Asked for a trim and side bangs. Ended up with choppy hair and my "bangs" were more like a HUGE chop to my front half of hair. It's a box of hair that is not shaped in any way. It's all choppy and looks terrible. Having to pay extra to get this fixed...definitely not returning. read more

If you go to GreatClips in Carrollton Georgia request Kaylee she did a phenomenal job cutting my curly hair just the way I asked. I am so picky about the way I want my hair cut and often time I feel like other hairstylists just don't listen to me, but that wasn't the case with Kaylee. I love love love love her and would recommend her to anyone who is picky about their hair. She nailed it 100% and I couldn't be more happy and will recommend her to Everyone that I know! read more

Worst service ever!!!! Took 10 minutes to acknowledge I was there. Then waited 25 minutes being the only name on the bored. While we watched people doing nothing in the back. After that time period other names were added online they showed up 10 minutes later and were taken right back. Those names were never even there for the first 25 mins we waited. All this after giving them a second chance after a much older lady cut my sons hair and cut it so poorly it looked like he took scissors to his own bangs!!!! I met the haircutter who didnt smile or welcome me. I asked her if we could talk a moment and expressed what I needed. She said she didnt do that, which was simply cut layers straight across. My hair looks edgy when it is dovetailed cut. I know my own hair. (I am a mature woman been getting haircuts over 50 years. ) She said thats not how I cut. Wished I had walked out. Then I asked for curls off my face. She didnt have a curling iron plugged in. She said that wld be 35.00. Clearly not wanting to do that. Wow. So I left. Very disappointed. read more

Worst hair Salon Ever! My husband and I went in to get trims and my husband ended up coming out with a fade instead of just trimming his curly long hair... I had a really bad experience. I have been a customer for a long time. Walked in signed in, The usual girl that cuts my hair was working. I assumed she would cut me after she finished the person she was cutting and the people that were ahead of me. So I waited. After these people were finished and I continued to sit there, now after about 45 minutes, she started calling people that came in after me. I questioned her where I was on the list. She really acted like she could care less so I left. I will never return. Bad service. Bad attitudes. Good riddance I will take my business elsewhere. read more

Love it and hate it. I don't have a hair salon that I love since moving here. So I'm limited in my options. I usually get a trim nothing overly complicated so it's a pretty safe thing to go to a chain. I love the online check in when I finally figured it out. It wasn't complicated but I didn't want to put anyone out by checking into the list too early. Anyway I checked in and went to the salon. No one was waiting ahead of me and a man was checking out. Good. I was the next in the list. Good. The hairdresser cleaned up her area. I waited. She swept. I waited and then she disappeared somewhere. I waited. Then I got annoyed. What the heck? Then I decided I'd better go to the salon across town. I didn't want to be annoyed with someone about to cut my hair, or have someone cut my hair if they didn't seems somewhat enthused. So I said thanks take me off of your list, and I left. I check in online again. Went across town and waited 10 min. It went fast so no problem. I decided to just do a bang trim as I had a dead ends clipped not long ago. She did a dry trim. After cutting she said " how does it look?" I looked, and I said crooked. She then tells me it's hard to get them straight when you pull them up to trim. I was thinking WHAT? You are a hairdresser, I could cut them crooked at home (and sometimes do). So she goes back in and blames it on my cowlick. Ummm that's new when did I suddenly obtain one of those. What a fiasco! So they look a little better and I say okey dokey and leave. When you walk in you automatically hear "phone number." Not hello, may we have your phone number or anything like that. The haircut was for a trim for a young girl - the lady asked the child what she wanted - not me! The young man who was "receiving" customers was clearly not prepared for the job. I would give them zero stars while ago I got a hair cut and the woman that cut my hair didn't understand that I didn't want an artificial part in my hair and THEN DID IT! SHE MESSED UP MY HAIR IT IS EXTREMELY LOW ON ONE SIDE UNEVEN INSTEAD OF USING MY HIGHLIGHTS SHE CUT THEM OFF ON ONE SIDE! I paid for my hair to get highlighted why didn't she ask me if I wanted them off why didn't she listen to me because they don't want to do want to do what you want or they can't. I have been going to this location for awhile went in on 12/11/18 to just get hair shaped up due to losing hair from medical condition. The young lady seem to understand. When I left she had put hair spray and looked ok, but the next morning after shower oh my I just cried. Worst hair cut I have ever gotten. I will find a new place to get my hair done. The saying is so true if it sounds to good look out. I will spend a little more money to get a professional cut. Learned a big lesson. read more

@ McIntosh Plaza, please hire better people. My 86 yr old mother was put into a chair, hair wet, cut then excused to pay the bill. I checked her in online, but she still had to wait. I gave instructions for her to have a shampoo, cut bangs & hair even with her ears (none of it done). I stepped 5 stores down, picked up a dress from Belks that was waiting on me, went back (gone max. 15-20 min) & my mom was sitting with wet hair at the window waiting on me. My mom is starting to develop Dementia and doesn't like water in her face. That's why we take her to have it washed & dried weekly whether it needs cutting or not. She refuses to go back, because she felt humiliated when I stopped to get our lunch & she saw he hair. The girl lied when she asked if mom wanted her hair washed & was told no. That's a treat for mom. The manager said it's policy to only finger dry hair. When it's in the 30's outside, I'm going to drop in on you Dianne, watch & see! read more
